In other extremely disappointing news, lol livejournal, congrats on no longer getting my automatic payments. I'm not leaving LJ, but I refuse to pay for a service that doesn't even offer an opt-out on something that I find not user friendly. So thanks, but no thanks.

( Which boy could I convince to get a haircut like Sawyer's, hmm? )

HAHHA, SO. I'm in creative writing class today and I get to talking with this girl and somehow the conversation of LotR came up. She was saying how much she loved Tolkien (that alone made me happy), and I asked her if she had seen the movies. She said that she makes sure every now and again to watch the Extended Editions, which made me nearly flip out, because like I told Danni, anyone who is willing to watch those babies more than once is a-okay in my book. And then she just had to do this:

Girl: I'm a big fan of detail and so when I write, ehm, fanfiction--
Me: *OMGOMGOMGOMG SHE SAID THE "F" WORD ;ALKDSJFA;LKJS!*
Girl: --I always make a little sketch of the clothing or jewelry or something if it's really important, and then write it out, and then take both to my friend who is a reeeaally good drawer so she can draw it better with more detail.
Me: You said... fanfiction...?
Girl: Yep!
Me: I love college.

Ahahahah. So maybe if I work up the courage one day I'll ask her if she has an LJ. Wave my dork flag, you know.


Oh yeah! I revamped my LJ: ---> caithream It's decent enough (still needs a bit of tweaking), I'm not entirely pleased with it, but for my first go in S2 and actual CSS and not overrides, I'd say it's pretty good. I'll probably end up changing it when the high-res version of GoF comes out, hahaherherhahahrer.
