So this pretty much explains... everything.

SO THEN WE BOUGHT OUR TICKETS TO COMIC CON TODAY AND I MIGHT HAVE ROLLED AROUND ON THE FLOOR A LITTLE. Tentative plan!: all meet in Salt Lake City, drive to Las Vegas and stay a night, drive to San Diego and stay the whole weekend for Comic Con, drive to the Grand Canyon, SEE THE FUCKIN' GRAND CANYON, and drive back to Salt Lake. CACTUS, GUYS. I get to see cactus. OH BOY.
A few more random pictures from the trip. )

So, sigh. Thus concludes our trip. I miss the girls so much already. I am also seriously in love with the Pacific Northwest. Really really. :(

The thought of going back to work and classes is EXCRUCIATING, but the semester's almost over, I guess, and I am so, SO quitting my job soon. AND, at least there is Eyecon to look forward to in like, FOUR DAYS. MISHAAAAA. !!!!!! Also, [livejournal.com profile] arabella_hope! I'm almost positive I have Thursday night off! I have to work tomorrow, so I'll know for sure (and about next Monday and Tuesday too), but EEEEEEEE.

(Also also, I feel so DISCONNECTED from you all when I go on trips like this! I'm so sorry I haven't commented on posts or hardly replied back to anyone elses, I WAS NOT IGNORING, I PROMISE. ♥)
Vancouver aquarium: fishies, dolphins, otters, seals, etc, and SNOOOOOWWWW )

ALSO, we ate at Tim Horton's this morning. CANADIAN. We were going to go up to Grouse mountain, like I said, but it was POURING and it would pretty much be pointless. OH WELL. Some other time. I LIKE PAYING FOR THINGS WITH PRETTY FAKE MONEY. BOO, I wish we could find info on where their sets are! It's kind of infuriating to be within like, a 25 mile radius of them and STILL can't find them. OH WELLLLLS. Vancouver is lovely, for real. Tomorrow we head out of the hotel and before we go back to Seattle we're gonna stop at Granville Island for AWESOMENSS, hopefully. Omg vacation ilu so much. ;_;
HEY, SO, just to put it out there if anyone's in Vancouver and wants to accompany, we're headed to Kintaro about now and then wander around the Gaslight district afterwards, if it's not too cold! And tomorrow we'll probably hang around Granville Island for a while before we head back to Seattle. My cell is 727-504-1039, if you need it! SO, YAY.

Utterly ADORABLE and amazing pictures from the Vancouver Aquarium forthcoming! (Because it was too cold/rainy/cloudy to go to Grouse! BUT IT SNOWED IT SNOWED I ACTUALLY SAW IT FALLING THIS TIME IT WAS GOOD SNOOOOOW.)
SEATTLE: mountains, snow, Bremerton, naval yards/museums, and general STUPIDITY )

Also, I have MANY MANY things to say about tonight's episode, but mostly it just comes down to LKJASD;FLJWOEIJAFLKGJEOHJ. PRETTY MUCH.

VANCOUVER TOMORROW.
WATCHMEN. )

And then afterwards I had only two beers on an empty stomach with the coworker who I saw it with, and WOW, HELLO. A liiiittle tipsy. WHUPS.

So. SO. This time tomorrow I will be IN SEATTLE. I'm so excited I may puke. Omfg. Just the fact that I get to see my girls again, ugh, it's KILLING me. I have a layover at O'Hare, so hopefully all the storms up there will subside, eep. But jafdlajsl;d I will take so many pictures you guys will be SICK of me and I'm also bringing my laptop and you can follow my twitter here when we get up to Vancouver and I make dumb posts about more of the SPN stuff we'll be seeing! YAY. So WISH US LUCK omg that maybeperhapswecanfindtheSPNset because afjdalsfjda;lsj. ALSO MAYBE PERHAPS AN R PATTZ. Because apparently New Moon is filming up there too. Oh God. We'll just follow the sparkles, YOU KNOW.

OKAY BYYZZ ILU. <333
Sometimes, when I open at work and come back and don't really take a nap or anything, I feel really really awful. Nauseous, fuzzy-headed, depressed, etc. Like today. Just... miserable. And I don't even WORK for that long, it's just psychological retardedness, or something. I don't know. But it's only 8pm and I'm pretty much thinking about taking a shower and crawling under the covers. Which wouldn't be a bad idea, really, seeing as how not only is it daylight savings tonight, but I have to open tomorrow. I love losing an hour of sleep when I have to be up at o'stupid thirty. I can't even see Watchmen tonight, dammit, nor tomorrow since I'll be at my aunt and uncle's and aughh, I want to see it SO BAD.

Whine whine whine. Boo hoo.

Well, okay, the good. The good is that I've been compulsively checking the weather in Seattle and Vancouver, and this Thursday we'll be taking the Bainbridge Ferry out and about, and the weather is going to be GORGEOUS. Hopefully the clouds will lessen a little, but as long as it's not raining I'll consider that a damn miracle. The good is also that I checked the one sentence synopsis of SPN for this Thursday, and I'm just, ohmygodohmygod SO EXCITED I could burst, really. Just to SEE IT again and have it on the tee vee. Not even to MENTION that I'll be watching it with my bestest friends EVER. Just, YAY. SO MUCH YAY.

Also with the good? New Decemberists. Holy hot damn, so good so far. Like I should even be surprised. Oh Colin Meloy. ♥

ETA: jfklasjdfwl;f holy crap, this... this might be my new favoritest Decemberist album yet. Oh MAN.
SPRING BREEAAAAK. lkfjasld;fkasl Last night after I got off work at 9pm I drove home so I could get my oil changed at our friend-of-the-family mechanic and also steal my sister's boots for the trip, so here I am! I haven't been here since January, waaah. My mom and I had to drop off something at my sister's school (also the same school I graduated from) and OH MY GODDD, I got a visitor's pass and walked around and saw some of my old teachers AND IT WAS JUST. SO WEIRD. My school was (and still is) SMALL, okay, my graduating class was 13 people. My old math teacher is still there and omg she was such a support to me (even though I hated math so much, SO MUCH) and I really enjoyed seeing her again. I just can't believe I'm almost TWENTY-TWO and no longer IN that world. It's just. Really really weird.

The next couple of days are going to consist of driving back to Orlando tonight because I have to open Starbucks on Saturday, seeing Watchmen on Saturday (!!!!!), opening work and going to my aunt and uncle's for Sunday dinner, working early shifts Monday and Tuesday, and somehow fitting in laundry and packing before I leave on Wednesday for Seattle. I don't know how to PACK for really cold weather, aaahh, so I'm kind of worried about that. Scarf, hat, gloves, coat, rain slicker, boots, PASSPORT, ummm. I GUESS.

CAN WE TALK ONE MINUTE ABOUT THIS. I know some people have problems with ANY sort of "private" pictures, BUT GOD, YOU GUYS, I CAN'T EVEN. PUPPIES AND HIS DUMB FACE AND JFAL;KRAWOIRE SO ADORABLE I CAN'T TAKE IT. (HAHA, KATE, if you haven't seen them yet, you might want to sit down.) WHY CAN'T I BE HIS NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR.

ALSO, I kind of. Broke down and got a twitter. SIGH. BUT, I figured it would be pretty handy dandy to have in Vancouver, if we see something neat. BUT GUYS, I'M SO CONFUSED. I really don't know how any of this works. I set it up for my phone, but do I have to have the internet on my phone for it to work properly? 'Cause I don't have internet. And if I turn on the device updates, will I receive texts CONSTANTLY if people update? How do I check what other people say besides going online if I don't have the internet on my phone? And uh. Any other pointers you could throw at me, srsly.

Omg homemade family dinner tonight, MY POOR COLLEGE STUDENT EATING HABITS THANK YOU, PARENTS.
SINCE we are only 18 days out from going to Seattle/Vancouver (!!!!), we should probably get on this whole plan-making thing.

Stalking is like tourism on CRACK. )

HAHA, I talked with my sister last night and told her we were leaving to go to Vancouver soon and it pretty much went like:

Her: SARAH. DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S FILMING IN VANCOUVER WHEN YOU'LL BE THERE.
Me: Oh my God, if you say Twilight-
HER: TWILIGHT!!!!!!
Me: You know, there's a totally different set we'll be looking for, so-
Her: You HAVE to look for them filming. And tell me if you do. OH MY GOSH, YOU CAN GO TO FORKS. SARAH, GO TO FORKS AND BUY ME A TWILIGHT SHIRT OKAY?
Me: ...I love you.

HAHA aw. The tables have turned! She used to give me the wtf eye whenever I had some serious flail about certain things, so now that she apparently likes Twilight so much, I can tease her about it. (But still, Twilight? Twilight? SIGH.)

Speaking of serious flail, OH MY GOD, SPN PROMO. OH MY GOD. Me rolling around on the floor having seizures does not even COVER IT.
So I thought to myself earlier today, SELF, you should stop pussy-footing around and just go see My Bloody Valentine tonight even if you do go by yourself. Yes! Good plan. But now all the theaters around here AREN'T SHOWING IT ANY MORE. WHYYYYYY. The only theater still showing it is half an hour away from here near Universal Studios at midnight and WHY, WHY DO I SUCK SO MUCH AT LIFE. Maybe it'll be showing at a dollar theater or something in Vancouver when we go up there? MAYBE?

Speaking of Vancouver, we leave for Seattle/Vancouver in 27 days! WHAT. Seeing as how there'll more than likely still be snow on the ground or at least be pretty cold, I figure I need to invest in some boots. But. !!!! I'm a little lost! What kind? From where? I just need my feet not to get wet and stay warm. Any help would be super appreciated.

I got a card in the mail from my mom today and this is pretty much going to sound so cheesy but it read "A daughter leaves your home but never your heart. She discovers her own happiness which, in turn, becomes yours." And I. I called her up and cried. I always get a little more homesick when I'm PMSing and this just kind of tore me in two. Both my parents, but especially my mom, have been so so supportive of me in moving out and wanting ME to be happy and chase my dreams, etc. It means more than I can say.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] arabella_hope! I got your card! Thank you so so much, darling! ♥!!!!

ALSO in the mail was some free tea samples from yogitea.com! I asked them to send me some around Christmas and it just finally got here, haha, but hey, it's free! I got Himalayan Apple Spice, Berry Detox, and Green Tea super-antioxident. I can't wait to try them.
SUDDENLY: we're apparently going on a mini-roadtrip to Seattle/Vancouver again, in March! HAHAHAAA. Instead of going to the Creation Con in LA, actually, 'cause that Con would have been good, but the conditions for most of us are going to be waaaay better for going to Chicago Con in November of next year. Seriously, doing this instead is going to be PERFECT, everything is just fitting into place. I'll be on spring break, a ticket to Seattle is SUPER cheap right now, and basically, I'll be saving $300 to do this than go to the Con, haha! And since we already know Vancouver like the back of our hand, it's gonna be KIND OF EPIC. Current ideas on the rotation are: Victoria Island, Squamish (the AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS town where Wishful Thinking was filmed), the Gaslight District (we somehow missed it last time), and any other filming areas that we'll see in episodes to come. OH MAAAAN.
