(HAHAHkfk;lafjeowjaw;flke omfg I can't even)

Man, I wish I was dressing up and going out to a party again tonight even though I went to one: last week and: last night, but still. Oh well. Gotta be up at 5:30 tomorrow anyway.

I FINALLY FOUND A COPY OF THE NEW FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS CD. And of course, I pass it on to you.

Flight of the Conchords - I Told You I Was Freaky

Seriously, download. I love so much "Too Many Dicks [on the Dance Floor]" (Make sure you know, before you go / The dance floor bro hoe ratio), "Angels" (There are angels in the clouds, doin' it), and "Sugalumps" (All these bitches checkin' out my britches / Put 'em in a trance when I wear track pants). ♥

And since it's Halloween, some Halloween-y type music too, I guess:

Christopher Lennertz - I am the Douchebag Played in the SPN S4 gag reel, and it's DARK and BROODING and PERFECT for those people named Criss Angel and AWESOME.

Alan Parsons Project - The Raven 70's rock AND Edgar Allen Poe? So so so good. I have listened to this song obsessively since I was, no lie, about four years old. On a record player, no less. :D

Sigur Ros - Sigur Ros The whole album of Von is creepy, gloomy, atmospheric, and pretty much downright weird. But in a good way. This song sounds like it could be played through a haunted house, or something.

Okay. Finish paper today so I can go have Sunday dinner tomorrow with my aunt and uncle. Sounds like a plan.
I was born on a Thursday. :D

Omg YOU GUYS. I CANNOT thank you enough for all the comments and posts and well-wishing! [livejournal.com profile] popmusicjunkie, [livejournal.com profile] kashmir1, [livejournal.com profile] estei, and [livejournal.com profile] wendy, thank you so much for the virtual gifts! I am filled with an inordinate amount of glee, FOR SERIOUS. THANK YOU SO MUUUUCH! I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M 22 OMG.

And HAPPIEST of birthdays to my birthday buddies, [livejournal.com profile] kashmir1 and [livejournal.com profile] poppyjar! Hope it was FANTABULOUS and ILUUUU! <333

I slept in and skipped my first class, but I had to go to my other two, bleh. But afterwards my cousin called me and her and my cousin-in-law took me to do PUTT-PUTT GOLFING. Best ever, omfg. And they brought me cheesecake! With strawberrys on top! WHAT IS BETTER, SERIOUSLY.

AND THEN, I came back to my apartment and my roommates had all of our friends over for a food club/birthday dealio! With much delicious food! AND TWO OTHER CAKES. Yes, I blew out candles on all three, HAHA. Awesome roomie #1 got me THIS SHIRT aksjdflaskjd SO AWESOMEEEE. And then awesome roomie #2 got me, well. For this, we need the visual. YOU SEE, we have this stand up cardboard of Will Turner. But roomie #2 is moving out soon! And she decided we needed a replacement:

YES, THAT'S RIGHT. THE DAZZLER HIMSELF. With craft glitter glue on his face. THAT GLOWS IN THE DARK. HOLY SHIT, NOTHING IS MORE AMAZING.

SO. Yeah. Good day. And TOMORROW I'm driving home! HOOOME. So very very excited.

And I think a FEW people wanted to know about that Flight of the Conchords concert last night. )

Okay! Packing. And then bed. And then HOME.
SO, APPARENTLY, Michael Jordan's son (you know, Chicago Bulls, basketball playing Michael Jordan) signed up to play basketball here at UCF! Which is kind of hilarious because wtf, UCF, BUT. This guy who comes into Starbucks all the time said that yesterday he was at the gym, just running, and IN WALKS MICHAEL JORDAN HIMSELF. To survey the campus! HOW AWESOME IS THAT, SERIOUSLY. So now I could go to a UCF game and probably see him in the stands, just watching his son play! HAHA WHAAAAT.

LKFJALKSDJALSKAS IN TWO AND A HALF HOURS BRET AND JEMAINE WILL BE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. SINGING. AND. OH MY GOD. It really didn't hit me until last night but now, AHHH HOLY GOD I'M SO EXCITEDDDDD. I am TOTALLY bringing my good camera and also hiding my smaller not-so-good camera in case they check bags at the door and tell me I can't bring my other one in, SO. IN ANY CASE. THERE WILL BE PICTURES. AND HOPEFULLY VIDEO. Omfgggggg.

Ugh, now if someone could finish my critical lit theory new historicism paper for me, THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
I had a mythology professor who called sex 'whoopie.' INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH. )

I have the OFFICIAL WORD from my advisor that I have only six more classes and then I can graduate. SIX CLASSES. Spanish I, Spanish II (yeah, I put off those language credits; good thing I took 3 years of Spanish in high school, so they should be a breeze), Linguistics, Statistics (>:(!!!), a Major Author (such as Chaucer, Shakespeare, etc), and an English Lit from before 1860. I can file for my intent to graduate in July. :D!!!!!!!!!

This last week's Flight of the Conchords was amazing. AMAZING AMAZING. They had better release a CD, dammit, I NEED IT.
Here are Flight of the Conchords' tour dates:

April 8: Orlando, Fla. (UCF Arena)

!!!!!!

!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMFG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEEE. LAKSDJF;LAJSD;LASJLASDJ.

(More tour dates here!)
Last night we went to see the Australian Pink Floyd, a tribute band. Good GOD. It makes me wish that I was around for such kickass concerts back in the day. My aunt and uncle were HUGE concert-goers back in the '70's, and said that the best show they ever went to was ELO; they had numerous truckloads full of equipment and it was the best damn thing they ever saw. It's too bad you hardly see that nowadays.

ANYWAY. It was so freaking awesome. I love Pink Floyd and they did an AWESOME job, sounded pretty close vocally too. Never before in my life have I seen so many grey-haired, middle-aged, half stoned, half drunk people going completely BATSHIT over the orgiastic display of light and sound, lasers and smoke and deep bass and a HUGE inflatable PIG on stage because guys, I love the Animals album more than is healthy, AND THEY PLAYED "Pigs (Three Different Ones)"!!! AAAHHH. "On the Run" was the best, and of course they played "Another Brick in the Wall," complete with helicopter sound effects and spotlights. So awesome. I wanted to melt into my seat. ASLDKJFSLDK.

There's a symphonic tribute band to Led Zeppelin coming to town in two weeks and my parents really want to see that as well ahaha. My mom REALLY REALLY wants to see ZZ Top, as they're coming too, but it's a $60 ticket. Pretty much I think I'm gonna get it for her for Christmas, hee. My parents are so awesome ahaha.

I am so done with writing papers. So done. Except not, because I'm not even finished with my first, hahahaaaaa. All I want to do is, well, writing, but no more Conrad, PLEASE, I've got ideas of the Winchester variety. Or read my newly acquired Fragile Things, a collection of short stories by Neil Gaiman that I got at Virgin Megastore for $10. I FORGOT TO MENTION. I totally got this shirt there too! New Zealand's 4th Most Popular folk parody duo!! Ahahah YAY.

Time to go into work, asldfjalsdj.
You know, I would have thought by now, since it's been a good, oh, three months since it aired, I'd be totally cool at watching AHBL 1 and 2 with the family, especially since I shared the experience with the gals. Yeah, not so much. Instead I embarrass the hell out of myself by crying like the damn world was ending (IT WAS) and liberal amounts of snot and dumb noises, and please God somebody explain to me why I'm so attached to this damn show. I don't even know. :(

A History In Passing. I'm pleased. :>

Wendy! I've been MIA for a little, so I'm sorry I missed your birthday! But I think I know how to make it up to you. )

I finally caught up with last week's Flight of the Conchords and AHAHAHA LOVE! The Frodo song! I was dying! I need icons, seriously.

Also, we watched the Mythbusters' "Viewer Choice" episode and ahahaha omg I honest to God think I broke something from laughing so hard at Adam's attempt to sneeze with his eyes open. HILARITY.

Wow, I really really don't feel like going to work right now. :(

Zeitgeist.

I CANNOT PHYSICALLY OPEN THIS WINDOW.

(Yep, still funny.)

Oh my goodness. Today was my Dad's last day of work, as he retired! He's been working with the City of Clearwater as an electrician for thirty years. Started almost out of high school with no college education and worked his way up to the top position in his department. He can fix anything, I'm not even joking. He was pretty emotional about it... I mean, he was seriously ready to leave the place, but after thirty years? He's built up so many relationships and camaraderies over the years, and everyone threw him this huge party and gave him two giftcards for $200 each to Home Depot (handyman!) and AAA. We kind of just... hugged each other and cried. Which made me even more upset, because I can't stand to see him crying, however rarely it happens. BUT THEN THERE WAS CAKE. And that made it all better. CONGRATS TO MY DADDEH. ♥

eeeEEEE I finally bought my plane ticket to [livejournal.com profile] winchestercon! $267! Not too shabby. OMG GUYS. I LOVE TRAVELING. LET'S GO TRAVELING ALL THE TIME OKAY.

JARED!!! FNA;LKJAOFJAS;DLKGA;OJDSF oh my GOD, FINE, I'LL GO SEE YOUR DAMN MOVIE OKAY. You don't want to hear the noises I'm making.

I want this BAG. OH MAN.

Beach tomorrow! :D :D
POINT BY POINT GOODNESS, mostly about how i can has tee vees:

- I have had the theme song for Flight of the Conchords stuck in my head all day. GUYS I SO LOVE THIS SHOW.

- There was a Firefly marathon on today and I have forgotten how much I LOVE IT. Also, Ben Edlund wrote a few episodes! Dude! I love this guy!

- Watched WIAWSNB with my family and cried quietly into my pillow. There were also tears from my mom! I will consider this a success.

- Afterwards we watched Die Hard again because GREATEST MOVIE EVER??? Signs point to yes. JOHN MCCLANE TAKE ME NOW.

- I have decided that Dean Winchester and John McClane would be BFF. John would be Roy Rodgers and Dean would be Clint Eastwood and they would play good guys vs THE ENTIRE WORLD. YIPPE-KI-YAY MOTHERFUCKER.

- Along this same vein, I have been THINKING and pretty much there needs to be this fic where Dean settles down, KIND OF, and has a girl/wife, but sometimes he goes out hunting, you know, but when he saves the day yet again with both guns blazing he comes back home all GRUFF and MANLY and testosterone-driven, which of course leads to THINGS and he is all AGGRESSIVE and MAN-HANDLING, and the missus is pretty turned on by it too. UNGHF.

Hi, I had coffee at around six hours ago, and yes, really, this is when it really kicks in. This is a problem.

Guys, I don't even know. SIGH.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS. AHAHAH OH MAN. The part where the chick didn't even KNOW WHO HE WAS and asked him to take a picture of her friends... AHAHAH. Omg poor guy a;lskjdal;sjd. And dammit he DOES smoke. Though it maybe only be a social thing. I am still SADFACE. But amused that he drives a Land Rover. Hee.

There is also THIS, and omg we're going to get a CHRISTMAS EPISODE this year! WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS MY GLEE. Oh yes, YES, I am so looking foward to this season. October 4th is just way too damn far.

AND THEN. THERE IS THIS AND GALSKDJFA;SFJAW;LDJF SHUT UP SHUT UP. HOW ARE THEY SO AMAZING. I DON'T EVEN KNOW.

Heh, a few of my Comic Con pictures that I took were used in the latest Plastic Winchester Theater. FTW!

And lastly, let me show you my music. My music. Let me show you them.

Flight of Concords - Frodo and The Humans Are Dead

I am so seriously in love with Flight of the Concords, even though I missed the first few episodes ahaha. So ridiculously HILARIOUS. Why did HBO only give them six episodes! WHY. (David Bowie in space, OMG.)

Time for WORK, unfortunately.
