I NEED YOU TO LET ME TOUCH IT )

Also this apparently happened at Dragon Con:

What would you like to do in Supernatural if you had an unlimited budget?

Misha: I think they should take the show on the road a little bit, like shoot an episode in Hawaii, shoot an episode in Vegas, shoot an episode in Mongolia. Do the whole, you know, travelling thing.
Jim: And actually shoot one in Kansas.
Misha: Shoot one in Kansas, that would be amazing! It would be great if we did like a whole episode that was all puppetry or ventriloquy. That would be amazing. An animated version like a South Park Supernatural. The musical would be great. The drag show would be fantastic. What else? Mime? Can we do a full hour of mime television? Never been done before. Very avant-garde. Very cutting edge.
Jim: I think we should do a dance episode. “So You Think You Can Be on Supernatural.”
Misha: And obviously the gay porn. So yeah.

Weeping.
1. Misha Collins and his offspring are life ruiners who ruin lives:

2. Oh dear. Going to see Harry Potter again tomorrow night with my friends who STILL haven't seen it. I wonder if I could go for the ultimate this time and hyperventilate myself into passing out from crying too hard. SHUT UP DON'T JUDGE ME SOMETIMES I CRY HARD.

3. I am a life failer and will continually fail at life and be a receptionist forever and never find my path or my career and never make more than 15K a year and will have to settle for horrible jobs because I don't even know what I WANT to do with my life much less get in to whatever jobs I end up wanting and bawww woe is me forever. PS, being an adult is dumb.
Lady Gaga concert on Saturday was absolutely smashing. So much fun. She has this stage presence that's just... so awesome. Not that that's news. I think my favorite was You and I, a new song on her upcoming album. And when Bad Romance came on, you damn well better believe I got on my heels and danced the sexy dance. Or at least attempted to. Ahh good times.

YESTERDAY I was leaving work, and I noticed the wonderfully overwhelming stench of gasoline, which filled me full of dread, as I have smelled it before under such circumstances, and it's never a good thing. Parked, got out, looked behind my car, and yep, gasoline, leaking out EVERYWHERE. Basically, squirrels have once again chewed through my gas line. This is the THIRD TIME this has happened, which is so dumbfoundingly STUPID it's almost hilarious. Per last time when this happened, I didn't start my car again, as gas could have been flying all over the engine which eventually equals me dying in a fireball. So I left it there and had my dad come pick me up. We had it towed to our mechanic this morning, and apparently it's going to take A WEEK to get the replacement part. Oh lol. But the good news is that it might cost me less than $250 dollars this time.

Stupid fucking squirrels. WHY WOULD YOU CHEW ON A GAS LINE. WHY. Does it have delicious flavor? WELL, no, apparently where I park is close enough to where people from another office feed them, so of course they're so dumb that they gnaw on whatever else is closest, including expensive car parts that have gasoline coating them. OKAY. Gaaahh rage rage rage.

But, everything was made a bit better by my friend texting me and saying she found a REALLY good deal on, uh, hot air ballooning! Lol no really. We've been thinking about doing it for a while, and it was a good deal, so I bought a ticket, lulz. HOT AIR BALLOONING. Who would've thought. We'll be doing it some time next month!

Alsoooo I know I totally had a fit about it on twitter, but I must flail about it here too because OH GOD IT'S SO CUTE. )

Tonight is definitely a "scour youtube for best-of-Rifftrax clips" kinda night. Good Lord, really, The Last Airbender? It was painful even WITH the commentary for just ten minutes.

LET ME DIE

BEST BIRTHDAY WEEKEND EVER TBH
OH my goodness. How can I possibly be 24? When I was in high school, do you know what I was thinking about myself at 24? Maybe not married, not yet, but maybe in a serious relationship. Definitely done with college and powering full steam ahead in my set career, moved out of Florida and etc etc. Lol I guess one out of four ain't bad. And I'm not disappointed with how my life post-high school has gone, not at all; I guess what I mean is, back then, 24 seemed so much more distant and grown up than what I actually am. HOW CAN I POSSIBLY BE CONSIDERED AN ADULT. I still live with my parents! I have no idea what a health insurance deductible is! MY BED IS NEVER MADE.

Ah, well. Panic about getting older aside, it's been a pretty good weekend! Trying to go out with friends last night was a bit of a clusterfuck, but we made good of the bad; we were late for a neat little planetarium show I wanted to see and therefore couldn't go inside, BUT a nice gentleman took us on the roof anyway and showed us through 3 massive telescopes the moon, Saturn, Sirius, and the nebula on Orion's belt, all of which was SUPER AWESOMESAUCE in case you were wondering. Then we headed over to a restaurant that I was really excited for, a Thai-Mex fusion, but they stopped serving 10 minutes before we got there, SIIIGH. Fortunately we knew another good restaurant in the area, so it worked out! Then there was drinking. LOTS OF DRINKING. So at least it ended well. :D

Today my parents and I went to Orlando to the Great American Pie Festival, where $10 gets you into the all you can eat pie buffet. Piiieee. If you can think it up, I probably had it. Omg. So good. Unfortunately it was all outside and almost unbearably hot (I know, it's April, I KNOW, MY RAGE, IT SIMMERS) so we didn't stay too long. Later we went to dinner at a Spanish tapas restaurant which was holy crap amaaaazing. Quail is awesome, btw. When we came home we had a Skype session with my sister, which was really nice because I miss her! I opened the present she sent me while we Skyping, which was pretty cool. A framed picture of us, vanilla rooibos tea from the Republic of Tea, and an assortment of ethnic food goodies from a store they have up in Chicago called World Market. DO YOU ENJOY HOW MY BIRTHDAY HAS CENTERED AROUND FOOD. I sure do. And thennn my parents gave me Tron on blu-ray (AHHHasjkdfla;jdka I am so excited to watch it you have no idea), $40 gift card to the ~mall, a full year's subscription to Flickr, and a pair of shoes of my choosing. I will keep you up to date and informed about said shoes.

Tomorrow I get to have the peppermint chocolate cake that my dad is making me. It has peppermint schnapps in it. And ganache. Omg. Sugar coma. This weekend. I cannot.

OH YEAH THEN I GOT THESE STUPID FACES )

Also HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS to my fellow birthday buddies who are continuously awesome, [livejournal.com profile] kashmir1 and [livejournal.com profile] poppyjar. I hope it was super! ♥

And last, but certainly not least, thank you SO MUCH for all the messages, comments, and other birthday wishes! Your awesomeness is my happy place. ♥!!!
Misha Collins is an utterly delightful human being. )

The CW, on the other hand, is full of fail and is PUSHING BACK TOMORROW'S SUPERNATURAL UNTIL THE 4TH, and I would rage and gnash my teeth except this is the CW, and after six years of seeing how they've dealt with SPN in the past, I am not at all surprised. The only good thing about this is that I can stay out later with my friends and, uh, drink more. LOL I'M NOT AN ALCOHOLIC. :|

So. SO. I talked to my boss on Monday and I was basically giving my spiel, and she interrupts me and goes, "You think I'm gonna fire you for asking for some time off?" Haaaa, well. It is a lot of time off. I told her I'd feel bad about leaving her high and dry, in case she did want to let me go, and she said we'll figure it out; probably hire through a temp agency for a few days to cover my work. Which makes me lol a little, because "my work" is mundane and insignificant, but whatever. SO YES. Crisis averted! I am going to Europe, and somehow, I still have my job when I get back. Very much counting my blessings, even if I still immensely dislike my job.

AND UM, this spoilery picture from THAT EPISODE is barely discernible but I don't even CARE, AAAAHHHH I'M SO EXCITED, GIVE IT TO MEEEE.
So. Baby. Specifically, Misha Collin's baby. Of which makes me so stupidly happy I can't even. And listen, I don't think he's kidding about the name. This is the guy who, and I quote, When asked about pets, [Misha] launches into this tale of woe about how he's not good with pets and he has these two turtles and one turtle is named Drydraluxalow. Then he says he dreamed the name and woke up and knew that's what he had to name one of the turtles so he wrote it down, promptly forgot it then had to "refer to the text" to officially name the turtle.

But now he's sad because the turtles hate each other and "it's depressing because they only ever see each other. What am I going to do? I'm not going to mediate."

I wish I had saved whatever article that was from. In any case, I'm betting on Misha being the most terrifyingly awesome dad ever.

Also. Baby:

Baby? BABY.

Yeaaahh, still not over it.

Going over to a friend's house tomorrow to watch Hocus Pocus. D'aww, Probie Thackery Binks. And since there's only going to be five of us together for Halloween this year, we're thinking of being *NSync. Too bad I still don't have my parachute pants.

In conclusion, a two-for-one favorite current meme.
Oh True Blood. OH YOU. )

THANK YOU, MISHA. I like imagining what conversation happened leading up to this point, and while the picture was being taken.

Misha: Stand still, assbutts.
Jared: My ass looks awesome, right?
Jensen: jesus christ twitter again

Or something.

ONE MONTH FROM TODAY I'LL BE IN CHICAGO FOR WINCON! YAAAAAY. Will be making another post about that soon.

I will only stop posting this everywhere when I get tired of it. (Which will be never, jsyk.)

Also aaahhh omg Misha will officially be a daddy next month! HEARTS FOR EYES AND VOMITING DOUBLE RAINBOWS. I hope we hear all about it in an official, non-creepy kind of way.

SPEAKING of babies, my family ordered this movies called Babies from pay-per-view and I saw bits and pieces and OHHHHH my goodness I could barely handle the cute. Srsly, watch the trailer and if your heart doesn't grow a size, WELL THEN IDK MAN. Kind of really want.
Firstly - does anyone have Rocky Raccoon and/or You Know My Name by, duh, the Beatles? I have no idea why I don't have them, and I need them in my life. Or, ooh, any good covers of Rocky Raccoon?

Tonight I went to a local, very small winery that I've kind of fallen in love with. A friend of ours plays the acoustic guitar and sang everything from Simon and Garfunkel to They Might Be Giants to Johnny Cash. They have a reeeaally good wine slushie that probably has WAY too much sugar in it but was still so good, and was pretty much exactly what I needed after dealing whiny moron clients all week.

AND THEN we went over to said friend's house and watched The Room and my God, have I ever talked about The Room here? This is not a movie that you watch. This is a movie that you experience. Read the very first review here and maybe, maybe one can understand why this movie is so amazing and so awful. But probably not. If you haven't seen it, seriously, get on that.

Also. Someone linked this blog regarding Misha's Random Acts, in which the author criticizes how this charity is basically being run. The interesting part, however, is that Misha replied back to her. And reading her article I can... sort of maybe understand where she's coming from, or at least just acknowledge some parts of the argument. What I don't understand is how being philanthropic to the people around you could be deemed irresponsible and not worth any time or effort because a) it's Misha's gotdam charity, he could raise money to have sweaters knitted for the whole state of Rhode Island if that's what he wanted to do, and b) just because your next door neighbor is not dying of starvation or lost everything in a flood, that doesn't mean he or she is unworthy of "saving," as it were. The proposed random acts of kindness don't have to be monumental; it can be subtle enough to make someone's shitty day just a little better.

If I WERE to argue anything about this charity, it would be to maybe change the percentages slightly of where the money would be going. But hey, the way I see it is that Random Acts was Misha's initial idea to begin with, and due to the increasing need in Pakistan and Haiti, funds also opened up for those areas too.

And lol, when the author said, We’re not talking about C-list actors that I happen to find attractive, Misha rebuttled with: ...so much energy and so many resources [are put] into fandom. I think all of that energy is great, but my thinking was, perhaps, if we could harness a fraction of those resources (both creative and fiscal), we could put some of this c-list idolatry to good use.

C-LIST IDOLATRY. It's sad because it's true. The idolatry part, not the C-list part. You're at least a B+ lister to me, Misha.
COMIC CON? COMIC CON. Spoilers for SPN season six up in hurr. )

UM UM UM AND THEN SOMEONE UPLOADED 3 MINUTES OF THE GAG REEL:

(A download link in case it gets taken down!)

AND I JUST HAVE TO CAPSLOCK ABOUT IT FOREVER, BRB )

And with that, I must somehow to go sleep and do irl things tomorrow, like work. So lame. CREEPER!MISHA SAYS GOODNIGHT!

My Dutch-ness is super sad the Netherlands lost the world cup. :((( SIIIGH, I guess 2nd place will have to do.

So let's talk music, won't us?

I have had this freaking song stuck in my ALL WEEKEND. This one too. The original being this double rainbow all the way vid, and seriously, I've watched all 3 vids tons of times and now I cannot. stop. laughing. WHAT DOES THIS MEEEAN.

My BFF Jimmy (who I watched all 3 vids with over and over) came over and we had a music exchange, plus I had some of my own new music, SO I MUST SHARE BECAUSE ILU:

Empire of the Sun - Standing on the Shore Such a beautiful song. Jimmy showed me the music video which is crazy and delightful, so it kind of went from there. Will have to get more of their stuff, I think.

CC Adcock & The Lafayette Marquis - Bleed 2 Feed Mmm, True Blood. MMM True Blood soundtrack! To me, this song is the aural version of everything True Blood made into a song. SO good.

Gorillaz - Rhinestone Eyes I lovelovelove Gorillaz. I don't know why it took me so long to get their new album. This song is delicious. Reminds me of summer, for some reason. MAKES ME WANT TO DANCE OMG.

Also, Jimmy's kind of hobby of sorts is remixing songs and making mashups. They're kind of awesome:
Supermassive Bad Romance (Muse's Supermassive Black Hole and Gaga's Bad Romance)
Britney Spears - If U Seek Amy (remix)
The Beatles - Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite (remix)
Empire of the Sun - Walking on a Dream (remix)

YOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD THEM BECAUSE THEY'RE REALLY GOOD AND FUN OK.

ALSO, while perusing the FFA on ontd_spnparty like I do almost every Sunday night, there were pictures of Misha from his episode of Charmed and I was all, LOL CHARMED and also, gasp! I haven't seen that yet.

So I looked it up.

AHAHA OMG he's so LITTLE and has a LITTLE VOICE and it reminds me SO much of looking back on Jensen's stint on Dark Angel. IT DELIGHTS ME SO. Also may I say again, LOL CHARMED. So adorable omg.

My sister and I started watching Psych from the beginning! This delights me also. UGHH that's why I'm late for bed now. Do not waaaant to go back to work tomorrow. :(
When you see this message, post in your journal with your favorite Season 5 SPN quote.

Castiel: The demon Crowley is making a deal; Even as we speak, it's— going... down.

Dean: Going down? Right. Okay, Huggy Bear, just don't lose him.

HAHA okay, just kidding, I love that one, but THIS:

Dean: Team Free Will. One ex-blood junkie, one drop out with 6 bucks to his name, and Mr. Comatose over there. Awesome.

Hells freaking yes, my friends.

In summation:

And just in case you weren't aware, I fucking love Misha Collins. Also, his wife. AAAAHHHH fjeal;kwje;oawjefa;lskdj.

I know, I know. I live in the middle of Florida. This should be old hat by now. But. Man. It's really disappointing. (At least it'll be cold Christmas night? And rainy all day, which will give the illusion of winter? Like, I don't want 230948 inches of snow and it being so cold it freezes your snot, but sweater weather? Maybe? ;_;)

So the people across the street have this TINY little kitty that wanders around our house a lot. Today we got it to come into our back porch and UGHHHH SO CUTE. Tiny little mews and it JUMPED up to our hands to pet iiiit. I feel so bad because it looks pretty skinny and the people across the street don't seem to let it in very much. I want to leave it food but then it'll get attached to us/our house and, you know, that's probably not good, seeing as how other people own it. But bawww I don't know what to doooo. I love kitties.

Alsooo I was thinking today about how many awesome people there are in the SPN fandom (yeah, I know, you kind of have to weed them out, but) that I don't even know, but I am way too much of a weenie to just go around and start friending people. I feel like I'm missing out, or something! HELL-ATUS SPN FRIENDING MEME. Someone more awesome than I should get on that.

And unffffff HELLO, HI.

OH MY LORD.

Boy roommate has just asked me if it would be cool if, since I wanna move back home in December and [livejournal.com profile] adesso is looking to move on also during that time, we could go ahead and see what it would take to completely cancel the lease in December. UGHAG;HLHA;GSJ;AOJ;AKS I'M SO ELATED AND RELIEVED RIGHT NOW I COULD CRY. 'Cause I've been wanting to get out SO BAD now, for MONTHS, and I was praying EVERY DAY that someone would get back to me on subleasing my room from January to April, BUT NOW I DON'T HAVE TO. OFFICIALLY 102 DAYS AND COUNTING, THEN. UG;AOGJOOAGWEIJA;OWEFIOA;J!!!!!!!!1

Also, if you haven't checked out my BFF [livejournal.com profile] whispered_theme's vids of the Con, YOU NEED TO. They're really good image/sound quality (minus everyone's HEADS that sometimes get in the way to make it a little blurry, hee) and there's a lot of them! AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT KEEPS FOCUSING ON JENSEN'S HAIR. It's all, !!!! LONG AND ALMOST DUCK-BUTT LIKE. And I keep watching this video of Misha and KILLING myself laughing. AHHHH LOVE. ♥

I'm sure almost everyone's seen it already, but: http://www.jaredpadaleckisass.com/spank_it.html IF THIS ISN'T YOUR HOMEPAGE YET WE NEED TO TALK.

I also always enjoy thefuckingweather.com. 32825? 74°?! ITS FUCKING NICE. AND WET. FUCKING SWEET
TODAY was my last first day of class ever. :D

Latino Literature looks like it's going to be fun. REALLY hard, but fun. It's an upper Gordon Level (it's LIT 4680, or something like that) so that means 12-15 page paper in November, woo. The professor seems awesome and it's an actual READING CLASS, like, read a book in a week and a half and then discuss it for another two weeks. I haven't had a lit class like that in a while, so I'm excited.

I originally wanted to switch the Spanish II class I have now with an earlier time, but I really like the professor of this one so I think I'll keep it. Man, I'll be hablando mucho mucho espanol por diciembre. Good times. The only bad thing about having this later class is that I have to walk a lot around campus during the hottest part of the day, and ughhh it's seriously so awful. Also the fact that the later it gets, the worse traffic is outside the campus. Also extreme amounts of unfun. (I have a very strong personal belief that unless you live in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, LA, Orlando, or Tampa, you are SO not allowed to complain about traffic. Therefore, I probably will be lots.)

Shakespeare studies is going to be a freaking breeze, as the professor lives in CALIFORNIA and doesn't really spend all her time dealing with her online classes, heh.

Also, my sister started her first ever day of college yesterday, aww! I really can't believe it. She going to attempt nursing, which is pretty freaking prestigious, especially at USF. She had Bio I yesterday and I was like GET IT GURL, that's more science than I ever took in my college career, haha.

I'm stupidly excited that it's almost September, meaning cooler weather is like, two months away instead of three now, haha. We also got our shipment in of pumpkin spice syrup at work AHHH FUCK YES. Pumpkin spice soy chai's, HERE I COME.

Also, in case you WEREN'T AWARE, from @theindigocherry/[livejournal.com profile] cherryscott: Misha is on my flight! and SO SERIOUS. Pics l8r. V w him omfg. JCLASKDJFOAWEIJALSDKJ SO AWESOME.
A. HAHA OMG THIS IS AWESOME. [livejournal.com profile] whispered_theme (who I really hope doesn't mind me reposting this, eep!) went to a wax museum in Victoria, BC today and took a picture of this which isn't spoilery in the SLIGHTEST but there are the very few who might consider it so, SO, I'm just sayin'. LOLOL WHAT MOST RANDOM PERSON EVER.

II. I randomly remembered I could transfer pics that I took on my phone to an online album, so I took this picture at work on break a few days ago!:

AWW our new backsplash is awesome. WOO.

C.

Misha Collins is so fucking delightful I don't even know what to do with myself. Again, super super vague spoilers for S5, but nothing anyone could logically guess already. AHHH THE END HAHLDFKASDJ.

IV. Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] loony_moony, for the mindfuck.

SO UM there's an ASSLOAD of people in my apartment right now because it's my roommate's birthday and they're loud but I had to get up at 4am so I'm reeeeeaaally tired and the little bit of stuff I DID drink is like, woo. I have to be up at 8am to go to work tomorrow siiiigh. GOD I WANT TO GO SEE DISTRICT 9.
Last night we went to the beach at sunset, so I've decided to torture you with more pictures. )

Speaking of pictures, I've been slowly adding all my trip stuff and whatnot to my Flickr account and I got a message from someone asking if they could publish this picture on Schmap. Which is pretty cool! I've really got to work on getting all of my stuff up.

And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] loony_moony, we now know that Misha is the prettiest bride that ever was. )

Evening from Cali. :D

We went swimming earlier even though it was PRETTY CHILLY, but the waves were PRETTY AWESOME. Yay!

A few more pics from the SPN Comic Con panel! )

My vids will turn up here, though I've only got one up now and they're moving reeeeally slow. And tomorrow morning we're leaving bright and early for the Grand Canyon to go camping so, you know, I won't really have internet access there haha. But I'll try to get the rest up as soon as I can!
