TODAY was my last first day of class ever. :D
Latino Literature looks like it's going to be fun. REALLY hard, but fun. It's an upper Gordon Level (it's LIT 4680, or something like that) so that means 12-15 page paper in November, woo. The professor seems awesome and it's an actual READING CLASS, like, read a book in a week and a half and then discuss it for another two weeks. I haven't had a lit class like that in a while, so I'm excited.
I originally wanted to switch the Spanish II class I have now with an earlier time, but I really like the professor of this one so I think I'll keep it. Man, I'll be hablando mucho mucho espanol por diciembre. Good times. The only bad thing about having this later class is that I have to walk a lot around campus during the hottest part of the day, and ughhh it's seriously so awful. Also the fact that the later it gets, the worse traffic is outside the campus. Also extreme amounts of unfun. (I have a very strong personal belief that unless you live in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, LA, Orlando, or Tampa, you are SO not allowed to complain about traffic. Therefore, I probably will be lots.)
Shakespeare studies is going to be a freaking breeze, as the professor lives in CALIFORNIA and doesn't really spend all her time dealing with her online classes, heh.
Also, my sister started her first ever day of college yesterday, aww! I really can't believe it. She going to attempt nursing, which is pretty freaking prestigious, especially at USF. She had Bio I yesterday and I was like GET IT GURL, that's more science than I ever took in my college career, haha.
I'm stupidly excited that it's almost September, meaning cooler weather is like, two months away instead of three now, haha. We also got our shipment in of pumpkin spice syrup at work AHHH FUCK YES. Pumpkin spice soy chai's, HERE I COME.
Also, in case you WEREN'T AWARE, from @theindigocherry/
