In other extremely disappointing news, lol livejournal, congrats on no longer getting my automatic payments. I'm not leaving LJ, but I refuse to pay for a service that doesn't even offer an opt-out on something that I find not user friendly. So thanks, but no thanks.
THIS WEEK

tomorrow: I'm going hot air ballooning? I'M GOING HOT AIR BALLOONING. My friend and I are waking up at the asscrack to drive an hour out of town to do a sunrise hot air balloon adventure, complete with brunch and mimosas afterward. THANKS GROUPON. :D!

And tomorrow night my sister is flying home for three weeks! :D!!!!! The only downside is that I have to open the next morning, and her flight comes in so late that it really wouldn't be a good idea to go to the airport with my parents to pick her up. Maybe she'll surprise me by coming into Starbucks to see me the next morning? I hope so!

thursday: open at work, come home, flail with my sister, and bake all the cookies. Seriously. It's gonna be Christmas cookie extravaganza up in here.

friday: impromptu Christmas party with my friends! It always seems like when I plan something weeks in advance, that hardly anyone can do anything, but plan it a few days ago? SURE WHY NOT. The fact that said Christmas cookies, my mom's homemade Kahlua, and baked brie with dried cherries and toasted almonds flkjasd;lfjaks will also be in attendance is, you know, helpful. And for the third year in a row we're gonna watch the It's Always Sunny Christmas special, lulz.

weekend: I took off work to visit my aunt, uncle, and cousin, the latter of whom just got engaged and is flying down to partay, so partay we shall. We're also going to Dave and Busters to celebrate other cousin's birthday, which is on Christmas day, no fun; I've never been, but I hear it's good times. Yay!

I've also got the news that I'll be working on Christmas day, siiiigh. I dunno, I guess I'm upset about it on principle, but really, I don't think it'll be that bad. It'll only be from 8:30am to noon, and I get time and a half, and all the tips that are made that day are going to be split among the people who worked that day only, and I'll be working with a fun dude, and I'm gonna wear my Starbucks santa hat. So. Yeah. Not happy, but it won't be too bad, I guess.

But this weather, I swear. Every day I'm getting closer and closer to just packing up and leaving this dumb state. How can one do Christmas-y things in 80 degree weather. How.
Booty )

And a few other odds and ends. Good times. Food was seriously excellent; we made a butternut squash soup recipe for the first time which was a huge hit. Played a couple rounds of Apples to Apples, and then watched Inception with my parents, who hadn't seen it yet. Soooo gooooood, of course, and Cillian Murphy, why must you do things to me? Honestly. So yes! Good times. And now there's only a week left of 2010. Good freaking Lord, where did the time go.
Went to the Disney area on Monday, and Epcot on Tuesday... )

[livejournal.com profile] orange74 is my favorite forever because not only did she send me a copy of the TV Guide with two of my favorite people on it, but she sent me a True Blood calendar too! TOO MUCH HOT IN ONE PACKAGE. Lol I said package. Thank you so much, darling! ♥

The high tomorrow is 70 degrees. My completely surprised face, let me show you it. No matter: family's coming over, I'm going to make some aaaawesome food, and there will be lots of wine and eggnog. Hope y'alls is just as swell. AAAAND CHRISTMAS PTERODACTYL. ♥
I woke up this morning with a sore throat and one nostril completely stuffed up, which, haha oh MAN, can I tell you, is my least absolute thing ever. I haaaaate not being able to breathe through my nose, of which I'm having a significant problem with right now. :( Uncool. Seriously uncool.

But Christmas was still completely wonderful. Half as many presents under the tree than usual but that was okay by me, 'cause seriously? I couldn't ask for a better present than moving back home AND getting my degree. SO THERE.

Weee pics! )

AND THEN, we finally got to see Terminator: Salvation. I liked! And that's saying something, given that I'm non-ironicly terrified of robots. Clowns and robots, you guys. I cannot even. BUT. Marcus! LOVE. Apparently that's the same dude who's in Avatar, yeah? And OOOH, he's gonna be Perseus in Clash of the Titans! MMMM I APPROVE. And then there's SeƱor Bale who made me lol from "IT'S FUCKING DISTRACTING. OHHH, GOOD!" and, you know, Batman voice.

OH AAAAND! [livejournal.com profile] unperfectwolf I got your cookies yesterday AHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are the BESTEST. ♥!!!

Ugh, I have no idea what I'm still doing up. I'm gonna go dope myself up on Dimatapp and try to sleep. I hope you guys had a fabulous Christmas!! <3333

Christmas was pretty low-key and VERY lazy and oh God, I'm pretty sure I have gained weight in the WORST WAY POSSIBLE, omg so much deliciousness everywhere. Earlier this evening we watched It's a Wonderful Life and I criiiied like a big dumb baby like I always do because you CAN'T NOT. And then we just sat around watching the Mythbusters marathon and I still have the biggest crush ever on Tory Belleci, JUST SO WE'RE CLEAR.

Assorted gift-receiving awesomeness included:

- 500GB external harddrive WEEEEE I'M GOING TO REORGANIZE EVERYTHING YAY OMFG
- a scarf (sometimes it gets cold in Florida! SOMETIMES.)

ALSO, today I changed my text message alert to Dean saying, "CANDYGRAM!" HA HA. :(

I just know that I'm going to homesick after I head back to Orlando tomorrow night. I really really don't want this to end.

Hope everyone else had a great Christmas. :) ♥
Yaaay, Christmas! It was good times, even if it was in the mid 70's all day. Dammit.

MY STUFFS:

- THIS CAMERA Ajafwoijafs. Oh man I almost cried. It's so PRETTY. I've been pretty much playing with it nonstop and trying not to drool all over it. THE ZOOM IS SO AMAZING. Examples! )

And a couple other odds and ends. Mostly there was just lots and lots of eating. Nommmm. Green bean casserole is God's gift to mankind.

Today I cleaned out my room and closet bigtime. Like, let's throw away stuff to make it look like a thirteen-year-old does not live here kind of clean. I reeeaaally want to redecorate my room with all stuff from Urban Outfitters. HA HA. Alas, I am not rich enough. Maybe piece by piece? I could do that. Totes.

Mmph, I'm feeling the need to travel again. I bought a map today, gonna put it on a cork board or something, and put in little push-pins of everywhere I've been to. It makes me happy just thinking about it. Spring Break, maybe.

K, back to reading DA fic. Alec makes me do FLAIL HANDS.
Church has been attended, eggnog with a nice helping Southern Comfort has been drunk (HAHA), and It's a Wonderful Life has been watched. I loooove that movie so much. Gjfasdlj Jimmy Stewart. Jensen, babe, I love you, but if you could kiss like George Bailey? Hi. I may never leave my couch.

No White Christmas for me. )

Aaand: Return to Sender PG-13; As the end of Dean's year looms closer, he feels the pressing need to return something back to Sam. For [livejournal.com profile] idril_telrunya! Hope it meets all your angsty needs, hee. Yours is next, Char!

And, AND: I have never seen this picture before! HAHA JENSEN'S FACE. And fjaldkfjs WHAT gun is Jared holding whaaat. That's HOT, seriously. Aww, so young back then. Heh.

Merry Christmas, you guys! Hope it's a good one. ♥
CAROL LEEEEEE.

Lookit what she GOT ME. )

Heeee omg my sister just came home from seeing PS, I Love You, and is COMPLETELY in love with Jeffrey Dean Morgan, aww! She could not stop going on about how adorable he was in it. Aw man. I'm gonna have to go see this now, aren't I.

I have had awesomely random '90s songs stuck in my head all day. THANK YOU VH1.
Heee, last night it was one of my coworker's last day and uh. Someone bought a bottle of Jack Daniels and the last hour before closing was GOOD TIMES. For the record, whiskey and coke >>>>>>>>>>>>>> rum and coke. I'd never had whiskey before, SO. Alkjas;ldj SO GOOOOOD.

I wasn't planning on doing one, but [livejournal.com profile] saschavamp asked ever so kindly, so!

My wishlisty thing! )

It's actually cold out! *CRYING* Finally. FINALLY. Tomorrow I'm gonna wear my, whatsit, um, TOQUE out and about, because I think it actually might be cold enough to do so. :D :D
Have received cards from [livejournal.com profile] stepliana, [livejournal.com profile] strawberryelfsp, [livejournal.com profile] unhobbityhobbit, and [livejournal.com profile] hellocalamity! Thanks so much you guys! <3

I also got in the mail today my copy of Ovid's Metamorphosis for my Mythology class next semester and EEE I'M SO EXCITED. I hope it's gonna be awesome, seriously.

Okay, I know I've been dropping a lot of music links lately, but SERIOUSLY, DOWNLOAD THIS ONE: The Shins - Turn On Me (Clint Mansell remix) I don't even know why, but it's pretty much amazing. It's making me have all these FEELINGS. <3

HAI LOOK. Macros. I got bored.

Also also, I wroted sick!Dean which is like, my favoritest ever, don't tell anyone. 'Course, I probably should have written a little something more for [livejournal.com profile] flusteredspeech since she's the one who's sick, um. Anything else you'd maybe like, babe? Anything to get away from analyzing modern lit, hee.

I think it's time for a salami sandwich. OH MAN.
!!!!

NEW GOLDFRAPP ALBUM:

Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree

Not supposed to come out until February, but three cheers for pirating music communities. I had to share it myself because homg. It's kind of spectacular. A bit different than her usual stuff, but man. I heart you, Alison Goldfrapp.

Also, last call for any more Christmas cards! And um. To those who are getting the snow: any chance of sharing pictures for the less fortunate? It got up to 80 degrees again today. :(
OH MAN.

I feel kind of spoiled. But my parents had a little extra money this year, so...

Obligatory 'omg look what i gots!' post )

Waking up to thunder was interesting, seeing as how we haven't even had a thunderstorm since July or so. Rained all day, and I was seriously okay with that. Good food, too. Goooood foooood.

Tomorrow I'm going to Busch Gardens with a few people YAY. Even though I have to work 5-10:30. I need my rollercoaster fix dammit!

Also, I forgot to mention, [livejournal.com profile] magikalrhiannon, who RULES MY LIFE sent me copies of Cry Wolf, House of Wax, and Devour. Thank you so much babe! I am rather nervous to watch Devour? Ahahah;sldkfal;sjdas. OH JENSEN.

Hope everyone had a great day as well! :D
As it stands right now, it's 74 degrees and ridiculously humid out. I'm trying not to let it bother me, I really am. My mom has insisted for the past six years or so to go to this church in our quaint little downtown (or as quaint as it gets in Florida) for the candelight service, instead of our regular church, because it has a giant pipe organ and my mom is more than a little in love with it. It was lovely, as always, amidst all the rain. Came home and watched our traditional movies, A Christmas Story and It's a Wonderful Life ("What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon, Mary." "I'll take it. Then what?" "Well, then you can swallow it, and it'll all dissolve, see... and the moonbeams would shoot out of your fingers and your toes and the ends of your hair..." and Jimmy Stewart and guys I love this movie so much) and being generally lazy. All in all, very nice.

For whatever reason I wasn't really feeling Christmas this year, which is sad, because I love, love this time of year. Maybe because I've been working nights now and haven't done a lot of the traditional stuff that we usually do, or maybe it's because we haven't had any real cold weather since Thanksgiving... I don't know. But tonight finally feels right, so at least I'm not a day late and a dollar short. Just... just wish it was colder, that's all. As long as I stay inside, I think I'm good, hee.

Merry Christmas. :D
Even though the concept of Christmas is kind of a joke down in Florida (cold? snow? what? huh?), Christmas it will soon be, so, cards!

[Poll #876786]

And vice versa. If I've missed someone and you want my address, let me know!

So, The Shins new album? AWESOME. Al;kjal;sdjkf. So many good albums have been released this year.

Would someone mind explaining these two pictures? Preferrably IN MINUTE DETAIL? AHAHAHAHAH WHAT.

My back is killing me. Being on dish last night (while working with The Ultimate Asshole and The Worst Shift Manager Ever, did I mention?) didn't help much.

Also, three-ish months ago I tried stopping my birth control to see if my period would finally start coming on it's own, but no dice. This is freaking ridiculous.

Yep.

Now since exams are over, I finally got to finish another Harry Potter one-shot I was was working on. Yay!

Grammar-pick, nit-pick, Brit-pick, anything, please.

More Than a Memory )

[livejournal.com profile] skygazing: I was just thinking the other day how it'll be two years tomorrow when RotK came out, and I was stunned. But, yes, certain movies certainly did their fill of that position. ;D Thanks, babe. ♥
[livejournal.com profile] whispered_theme: OH MY GOODNESS. I pulled it out and my jaw dropped. You are too sweet and thoughtful, and give my thanks also to your friend, who did an awesome job. ♥!!

I ordered Firefly for my dad today on Amazon ($27 dude!) for Christmas, so now I finaaaally get to see all the episodes. :D

Hermey: I thought you wanted gold.
Yukon Cornelius: I changed my mind.
