First and most importantly: happy mega super AWESOME birthday to my lovely rah-rah ah-ah-ah [livejournal.com profile] regala_electra, sometimes purveyor of my needs (very dirty het), queen of karaoke, and all around awesomepants wearer. ILU REG. ♥

Sunday night me and four other friends drove to St. Augustine (a good four hours) and spent the night, and went around the city Monday. Everything was perfect.

And gorgeous, too. )

Regarding SPN season six, and news surrounding it: I am, and forever (hopefully) will be, an optimist. It is The One Thing that more than often, just gets me through the fucking week. So yeah. I'm an optimist.

...if you feel so inclined!

Out to an extremely yummy, and dare I say, somewhat authentic? Mexican restaurant with my friends YAAAY. I promise I'll be more active again on here soon, 'cause I've been, you know. Being a host for my BFF who is staying here, haha.

Also, WHOA HEY, this is my 2000th post! That's kinda neat, I guess.
Hi! I've been busy! With things! A really good friend I've known since kindergarten is staying with me right now. I haven't seen her in years, 'cause she was in South America teaching and then country-hopping for a while. Seriously, like, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, etc etc. She pretty much speaks fluent Spanish, so that helped, haha. Anyway, like I said, I haven't seen her in years, so she's staying with me for a couple days and then other people who she knows around this area. AND THEN in two weeks she's flying to France where her parents live (I KNOW RIGHT), so we're hanging out with as much people as we can. It's been pretty much awesome. Wednesday night we're even going out for a semi-formal dinner!

What I'm really excited for though, is this coming Sunday evening a bunch of us are mini-roadtripping to St. Augustine and staying overnight in a hotel. AHHH SO EXCITED. I love St. Augustine and, of course, shenanigans will be caught on camera.

Work is work, which means yay it's awesome to be employed and my boss and coworker are awesome, but omg it's work and I dislike sitting down so much and twitter is my LIFESAVER and boredom reducer, 'cause I'm still kinda terrified to log into LJ, JUST IN CASE.

I am extremely unhappy about another hiatus after this week's episode. WAT. Whatever, I guess I'll just have to creepily follow Apolo Ohno's going-ons 'cause omg THAT GUY. He is adorable and makes me internally flail a little. Do not judge me.

UGH SO TIRED BEDTIME.
In which much thanking is done. )

I cannot stop fucking staring at this, and God almighty, have you seen the 2x10 "Hunted" promo? It's like. I want to curl up into a ball and die? AAUUGHH.

OH MAN. Our new music came in at work, and it includes but is not limited to: Regina Spektor, The Shins' Wincing the Night Away, The Decemberists' The Crane Wife, and, best of all, Damien Rice's 9. SO AWESOME. Starbucks is xindiecorex?

Also, I got hit on at work today by two guys who smell liked they honestly bathed in cologne. Flattering, but I also like to breathe. It's rather unfortunate that I blush really easily.

And now, I'm out of town for the New Years. See you in '07!
OH MAN.

I feel kind of spoiled. But my parents had a little extra money this year, so...

Obligatory 'omg look what i gots!' post )

Waking up to thunder was interesting, seeing as how we haven't even had a thunderstorm since July or so. Rained all day, and I was seriously okay with that. Good food, too. Goooood foooood.

Tomorrow I'm going to Busch Gardens with a few people YAY. Even though I have to work 5-10:30. I need my rollercoaster fix dammit!

Also, I forgot to mention, [livejournal.com profile] magikalrhiannon, who RULES MY LIFE sent me copies of Cry Wolf, House of Wax, and Devour. Thank you so much babe! I am rather nervous to watch Devour? Ahahah;sldkfal;sjdas. OH JENSEN.

Hope everyone had a great day as well! :D
!!!!!!!!!!

Suj. Dor. You guys. You guys.

Thank you so, so much for the DVDs!! Buble! Depeche Mode! I cannot even! I'm standing there in the kitchen, my mouth hanging open, and my parents are like, "AUSTRALIA? MAIL? HUH? DVDS? WHAT?" and I am like, choked up and making high-pitched noises and seriously you guys are so awesome. Thank you thank you thank you! ♥!!!

OH MY GOD. For those of you who know what Mystery Science Theater 3000 is, the guys are now doing current movies, such as X-Men, Matrix, Top Gun, and etc., via www.rifftrax.com.

GUESS WHICH MOVIE THEY'RE DOING NEXT.

AHAHAHAHAHAH OMGGGGGG. This is SERIOUS BUSINESS. I literally flailed in my chair holy crap this is so going to be the greatest thing ever. AHHH.
[livejournal.com profile] stargazertook IS MY GODDESS.

HEEEEEEE. I open up my mailbox, YAY a package for me! I open up the envelope, YAY I got a letter! I open up the DVD... HOLY CRAP OMGWTF GOBLET OF FIRE.

Dor, you are me hero and I heeeaaart yoouuu and I've been giggling like a madwoman all night and thank you SO MUCH! My sister and I are setting aside Saturday night to watch it. :D ♥!!!!

So, yeah, I'm pretty much really happy right now. My sister and I just went out and bought like... a hundred dollars worth of stuff to spruce up my parents' bedroom this weekend, as they're in Utah right now, and we're so excited to do it. We figure they do so much for us we might as well give a little something back, right? Aww. And then tomorrow night I'm going out to dinner with friends and then maybe go to the hookah lounge afterwards (WOO HOO!), and SATURDAY... will be good times. :DDDD

Now, however, it's time to watch my husband Josh Holloway on Conan O'Brien. OH BOYS.
