POINT BY POINT GOODNESS, mostly about how i can has tee vees:

- I have had the theme song for Flight of the Conchords stuck in my head all day. GUYS I SO LOVE THIS SHOW.

- There was a Firefly marathon on today and I have forgotten how much I LOVE IT. Also, Ben Edlund wrote a few episodes! Dude! I love this guy!

- Watched WIAWSNB with my family and cried quietly into my pillow. There were also tears from my mom! I will consider this a success.

- Afterwards we watched Die Hard again because GREATEST MOVIE EVER??? Signs point to yes. JOHN MCCLANE TAKE ME NOW.

- I have decided that Dean Winchester and John McClane would be BFF. John would be Roy Rodgers and Dean would be Clint Eastwood and they would play good guys vs THE ENTIRE WORLD. YIPPE-KI-YAY MOTHERFUCKER.

- Along this same vein, I have been THINKING and pretty much there needs to be this fic where Dean settles down, KIND OF, and has a girl/wife, but sometimes he goes out hunting, you know, but when he saves the day yet again with both guns blazing he comes back home all GRUFF and MANLY and testosterone-driven, which of course leads to THINGS and he is all AGGRESSIVE and MAN-HANDLING, and the missus is pretty turned on by it too. UNGHF.

Hi, I had coffee at around six hours ago, and yes, really, this is when it really kicks in. This is a problem.

I've been bugging Jimmy and Haley for a while to watch Firefly, so tonight they came over and we watched the first three episodes. And they loved it and can't wait to come over again and watch more. I RULE.

(It's taking all my willpower not to have a Firefly quotefest, because it's all SO DAMN QUOTABLE.)

Also, I really hate myspace, okay? But the guy I had a huge crush on in 11th grade just got one and... I... um. He was an absolute sweetheart and just so, so hot, and I'm freaking fifteen years old, OKAY? I hate myself, I really do.

My mom and I drove all the way down to Sarasota today to see a live performance of To Kill A Mockingbird. Oh. Ohhh. It was so good. So very good. My mom grew up in Savannah, Georgia, and so she's got, you know, a special place in her heart for everything southern, and the book is definitely one of them. She passed that love on to me, and, we just, ahlaksjfs. So much love. Gregory Peck will always be my Atticus Finch (♥), but the guy who played him at the theater did a fantastic job too. Homg.


We watched 1x12, The Message tonight as well. THE HAT. I LOVE. THE HAT. "My food is problematic." Omg laskjdfasj. I think that may have been my favorite episode so far. I criiied. Now only two more to go. :((

Also, question: My history professor wants us to write our paper in Chicago style for some reason. I have a book on it, but I'm still not sure on parenthetical notes... do you put the author and the date, not the author and the page number? Omg college. :((((
