Won't be around forever, girl

O HAAAAAII.

Best Con ever. For serious. It's been such a complete whirlwind and I was pretty tipsy for most of it (...) so any report I do later probably won't be as thorough, ahaha. Chrissy, Lauren, and Lizzie all left today but me and Kate and Carol Lee are still in the hotel room. In between all the stuff we've been doing I've managed to upload all my videos, so I figured I'd go ahead and get those out there. MY GOD I LOVE MY NEW CAMERA, OMG.

SO, yep. Tomorrow Kate and I are driving back to Clearwater and we'll probably hit the beach. Hopefully sooner than later I'll get up my pics (which are kind of amazing, EEEP) and little heres and theres about the Con. YAY.

Today, in list form:

- Today's my dad's 53rd birthday and this morning I told him I loved him just before they wheeled him down to get prepped for back surgery. I've never... I haven't been in a hospital, really at all, besides when I was born and when my sister broke her arm when she was five, and it's just... unnerving. His ambulatory room was right next to the CCU, and that, well. Kind of freaked me out. I'm not used to it, I guess. This isn't my dad's first back surgery, but I'm nervous anyway, even if it is just a herniated disk. I just... I didn't want it to be on his birthday, you know? :(

- Today is also one mister Eric Complete-Owner-Of-My-Soul Kripke's 33rd birthday wee! Twenty years apart, haha neat.

- Totally skipping my Lit class today because I AM NOT driving to Tampa and back for an hour and fifteen minute class of PRESENTATIONS, especially when I already gave mine. Sorry, no. And if I have too many absenses (I don't think so, but still), I will totally pull the "omg my dad was in surgery" sympathy card ahaha.

- Of course, this means that I now have to start writing my two big final papers for the end of the semester and I don't waaaaaant to. :(!!!

- I know I haven't been doing much flailing on Harry Potter lately (or, um, ANYTHING else besides Supernatural and I AM NOT SORRY OK) but this trailer? Hoooooly crap. I got GOOSEBUMPS. I honestly wasn't expecting OotP to be that great, but AL;DKJFALSDKJF. I'm really damn excited now.

- And everyone and their mom (or, uh, maybe not) has probably seen this, but this Mario video? So freaking hilarious. He sounds like Christopher Walken! AHAHAH.

- IT'S ALMOST THURSDAY OMFG YAAAY!

ETA: Holy shit. I just got an email from USF saying the police on campus this morning found a guy sleeping in his car with .38 caliber handgun, a shotgun, and a knife, and arrested him. That's... I feel sick. :\
