Um, okay.

My parents just bought my little sister a car.

My parents just bought my sixteen year old little sister this car:

So, okay, fine, it was only $2000 and in really good shape, but, but! She is only sixteen! SHE IS GROWING UP TOO FAST. And that thing is huge! She could get lost inside it probably! I don't want her driving around, I really don't.

Oh yeah, not to mention that this is my car:

I'm not jealous! I think. I LOVE my car, I really do, despite it being a ghettomobile, but COME ON. Well. I'm planning on establishing some credit on a Passat or a Jetta later on. Or maybe a Camry. Or a Corola. HMM. Oh invisible money, I love you best.

It's been so freaking hot and humid here the past couple days. It would be 85 degrees again today if it weren't raining. HATE, FLORIDA, OKAY, HATE.

So many papers. Why is it not Spring Break yet. :(

Hnng aaahh

DO NOT WANT.

Also. )
Today? 85 degrees. I am honest to God thisclose to start going on a freaking murderous rampage.

So, hey! Looking in to colleges in North Carolina. Except, I have no idea where to begin, other than going, "Uhm, duh, uhm, THIS ONE MAYBE?" Seriously, how am I supposed to know which college is better than another, other than basing it completely on admission costs (student loans HERE I COME)? And then there are pictures, which kind of put me off my freaking rocker, a la this and this of the Appalachian State University branch of UNC. Hurts. Hurts real bad.

So no cold weather = turning down our AC and finally catching up on the last two episodes of House. AH MAH GAH. Kind of amazing. My new OTP is quite possible Wilson/Cuddy??? Also WILSON is like a puppy being repeatedly kicked and it kind of breaks my heart, and CHASE why do you have to be so gorgeous? I almost called House out for being an emo kid for cutting himself (did anyone else think of Legally Blonde during the "endorphins" speech?), but he looked so pitiful that I... yeah. Tritter is obsessed, and a bastard, and I want to choke him, but he played the dad on Contact and I love Contact, SO. Hiatuses a good month do not make.

Also, I can't stop singing this in my head. AAAH HILARIOUS. JUSTIN WHY DID YOU HAVE TO BRING SEXY BACK. I secretly lust. Like. A lot. :(

And finally, thank you [livejournal.com profile] troublecreek and [livejournal.com profile] stepliana for the cards! :D
So now my parents are back, they showed us most of the pictures. Snow upon snow upon snow; skiers, mountains, impossibly blue skies, icicles. They showed us this one place where people rent snowboards for a day and you just... go down the mountain. In snow. Just... down a mountain. Whenever you want.

It kind of kills me. It kills me that I'm stuck down here, missing out on all that. Mountains. Just... mountains.

One on of their expeditions, they were going snow shoeing on this range, and there just so happened to be a crew from the Travel Channel there doing a documentary on Utah and what to do in the winter and summer. My parents had to sign waivers and stuff, and their going to be on TV! Hahah. That's kind of cool. The show should be airing in the fall.

It has been so, so cold here, too. Very nice change.

OH YEAH. Some guy got shot and killed on our campus. THAT'S AWESOME, RIGHT? Tampa = so ghetto.

(PS: Ignore the LJ layout. It's under construction, etc.)
I am so sick of Florida. I'm not even kidding. It's 71 degrees right now, and I swear to you, I could stand outside for 10 minutes and be drenched in sweat it's so humid. I hate the fact it snows almost everywhere but here. I've never shoveled snow, never built a snowman, never had a snowball fight, never even seen it. I'm tired of palm trees, crowdedness, old people that move down here and drive slow, one story houses, and no white Christmases ever. And in two weeks my sister is going up to North Carolina with the youth group and is going snowboarding and stuff. I'm more than a little jealous.

My rant of the millenium.

On a happier note, OMG HEEE [livejournal.com profile] thoughtpoison, I got your card today! Omg Hufflepuff and Cedric and omg so cute. :D

A few songs that I have been listening to a lot lately:

Upon This Tidal Wave of Young Blood - Clap Your Hands Say Yeah When I first heard this I wasn't too impressed, but the more I listen to it, the more I love it. Indie like nobody's business.
The Cedar Room - Doves Nothing can compare to the greatness that is Doves.
Have You Got It In You? - Imogen Heap Many thanks to Kate. I am so in love with Imogen (also singer of Frou Frou.) Her voice and music is unlike any other female singer.
Teardrop - Massive Attack Not only is this the theme song to House, MD, but it's a really very good.
Nails For Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks - Panic! At the Disco I can't vouch for the rest of their songs, because this is one of the few I have downloaded, but this is really very fun. Rock and electronica mixed.
Isaac - Madonna YEAH, SO, I DOWNLOADED THIS. It's actually pretty good. This song is wonderfully mellow.

Hello, it's raining.
