There was a fire at a house two blocks down from us in our neighborhood this afternoon. I didn't want to be a looky-loo, but my sister insisted. Nobody was hurt, I don't think... the roof didn't collapse but there were huge black soot stains around all the windows, and the car in the garage was pretty well melted. Just. :(( House fires have freaked me out since I was a kid, and I am more disturbed than I care to admit. Wah.
So, uh, this is probably a dumb question: I sent a transcript from my school to another a while back, and the eight bucks to get it done has been processed, etc., but I haven't heard any word from anyone. It's been forever ago since I sent my high school dual enrollment credits over to my school now, so I can't really remember how it's done. Do I have to contact the school I sent my transcript to and ask them about my credits? Or is that the responsibility of the school I go to now? Point being, who do I have to contact to ask about the tranferrable...ness of credits from one school to another?
At this point I honestly don't care if I move to Tampa or Orlando, as long as I'm closer to some school. ANY school. I used to be able to manage driving an hour both ways to school with my iPod and all, but now I get so utterly depressed just thinking about getting up tomorrow and doing it all over again. Another year of this just isn't going to cut it, sigh.
On a happier note, I am totally 700 words into what I said I could not write. \o/!!!

Date: 2007-10-23 06:25 am (UTC)Uh, maybe I'm braindead at this hour, but I can't think of who to talk to about the credits thing. I think they might have a specific advisor for transfer students? I'd say talk to the school you're sending your transcript to first, then go from there. They'll probably know who you should talk to.

Date: 2007-10-23 06:39 am (UTC)Dude, I felt kind of braindead too, because it seems so OBVIOUS, and for the life of me I can't decide if I should just wait or contact someone. I was thinking the office of the registrar over at UCF, because I KNOW everyone over here at USF would be all, "Huh? What? Transcipt? Dur?" So, yeah.
Also, your icon is serious happymaking. <3
