I have a very obsessive personality. If, you know, you haven't figured that out yet.

That being said, I, uh, pretty much can't stop thinking about this DUMB MOVIE, God. You know how when you first find this new, shiny fandom, or TV show, or movie, and you're just like, I NEED EVERY BIT OF INFORMATION I CAN DIG UP, AND FANFIC, AND EVERYTHING ELSE RIGHT. NOW. It's kinda like that. But it's just, ummm. I dunno! I feel kind of weird about it, because even throughout fandom some people were like, it totally sucked! I laughed my ass off and not in a good way! Blah blah blah! And then that makes me kind of sit here and go, oh. I DUNNO. I'm just so stupidly weird. It's not that I'm embarrassed to have completely enjoyed the movie, I just... I kinda wonder if I say anything more, that people will be like, "Wtf, it wasn't that good, c'mon."

Whatever the case, I'm just chalking it up to the fact that I am so inexplicably drawn to every damn move that Jensen Ackles makes, it's kind of ridiculous. My brain, all day, "PRIESTLYPRIESTLYPRIESTLY." He's just. I DUNNO GUYS. I can't even explain it. SIGH.

This little gem doesn't really help matters: From the Ten Inch Hero podcast, paraphrased: Priestly has backstory that isn't in the movie - he's the only child of rigidly Christian fundamentalist parents and he got away as soon as he could. He's done postgraduate study. His skewed viewpoint on life tended to scare people away so he adopted the left-of-centre look in self defence, like 'You think I'm weird? I'll SHOW you weird'.

I DUNNO GUYS I REALLY NEED SOME HELP HERE. MMMMMPHHHGAAAAH.

I HAVE IT SO FUCKING BAD I CANNOT EVEN THINK STRAIGHT. And DUDE, no worries, I had an obsessive streak with the Matrix back in the day too! This is why fandom(s) are pretty much a crutch in my life: without them, I'd have this deep, aching hole in my heart that I wouldn't know how to fix. SIGH!

NO BUT LIKE, I STILL HAVE AN OBSESSIVE STREAK WITH THE MATRIX. It has carried over from YEARS AGO and makes me emit ridiculous amounts of hearts for the trilogy, even though Revolutions was kind of--WHATEVER, NOT THE POINT. I even downloaded the first movie yesterday because I discovered a DVD quality download and was I DON'T HAVE MY DVDS DOWN HERE, SO OH PERFECT. ♥ ♥

I GET WHAT YOU MEAN. FIERCE FANFARE CONSUMES BRAINCELLS AND RADIATES JOY. ENJOY IT FOR ALL ITS WORTH.

*laughs* Honestly it depends on the movie! I love him a lot in The Watcher, which has, let's face it, not the hottest script ever written. I totally have no shame for enjoying it anyway. :D

Angsty Keanu is the best Keanu. I recommend The Watcher if you would enjoy any of the following conditions:

-Keanu techno dancing to Rob Zombie
-Keanu playing the villain and throttling chicks with piano wire
-Keanu going batshit obsessive over the FBI Agent assigned to his case

But really, I think it is worth seeing for the techno dancing alone. He UHM, totally burns up the dance floor. Literally!
