Hngghasldkfsjd CHICAGO.

My love! My undying passion. My feet ached.

We had to take a layover in Baltimore before flying into Indianapolis. Erin (my sister) get's the window seat, so I get to sit next to this fat guy who SNORED SO LOUD AAHHH but we couldn't stop laughing.

Large! Urgh, ignore the let's-not-get-dressed-up-to-go-on-a-plane look.

So I wrote my sister a note because his face was nearly by my shoulder.

Aahahaha.

Chesapeake Bay! Neats.

So the day after we got to my Aunt's house, we went to a water park. A water park! In Indiana! Hilarious! The water was freaking freezing and it was windy, though everyone else thought it was pretty great. Geh. I'm a Floridian! If the water isn't 80 degrees or higher, I'm a no go.

I did manage to get a pretty bad sunburn (ha!) out of the whole deal, which turned into an awesome tan, so all was not lost.

We went to Amish Acres the next day. Oh man, they have the best food.

Yep. Definitely don't have anything like that in Florida.

Corn. Lots and lots of freaking corn.

So, since my Aunt lives in Plymouth - a really small town in Indiana - we had to drive all the way to the South Bend airport to catch a 2 1/2 train ride straight into downtown Chicago. I'd never been on a train ride like that before, and I actually loved it... listening to your iPod, watching the landscape and rain outside go by... pretty nice.

A stop along the way.

And then, finally...

Yeee!

I love eeeet.

And since it was all rainy, it was foggy and awesome.

My cousin Brent suggested we eat at this place called Ed Debevics. It's like a 60's diner kind of thing, and all the waiters and waitresses are all rude and loud and it was SO hilarious. If you go to Chicago, GO THERE, srsly.

My cousin with our waitress.

HATS OMG.

And then they get up on the counters and dance.

I can't believe he let us drag him into Victoria's Secret.

Random spray-painted sign on the sidewalk!

...?

Looking straight up at the John Handcock building. Man, that thing is huge.

SO, the stash. Erin, good Lord. She bought a jacket at Puma for $55, and shoes for $65. Both are awesome, but... gah. I can't imagine paying that much. I ended up getting three CDs at Virgin, Matisyahu's Youth (HOORAY!), Ladytron's Light and Magic, and Sufjan Steven's A Sun Came. A cute jean skirt from H&M, too. I can't believe that the closest H&M to us is freaking 400 miles away. Uncool.

Two pairs of shoes, as well, both $19, one from DSW and one from Kohls, respectively.

I AM CHEAP FRUGAL, HEAR ME ROAR.

Let's see, what else. Ahaha, my Aunt and step-Uncle bought scooters and they let us ride them around the neighborhood.

O I R JUST LIKE HOUSE OMG. Vrooooom.

A pretty picture flying home yesterday into Tampa.

OKAY, SO. I have some serious rantage about Florida. I HATE IT HERE. I really do. We went to Indiana just in time for blueberry season. I never liked blueberries, because whenever my mom bought them they were always sour and whatnot. But up there? Delicious. We made blueberry everything: pies, shakes, pancakes, etc. My Aunt also found a mulberry tree not far from her house, so she went and picked some, and I mean...! You can't do that down here! Well, oranges, they're nice, but, eh. And grapefruit is disgusting. My Aunt was growing pear trees, cherry trees, blueberry and raspberry bushes, and all sorts of things, and it just kind of boggles my mind that they'll be able to just walk outside and pick them and eat them. It kills me living down here, it really does. It's hot, gross, ugly, and it's freaking stupid central.

And snow. Damn it all.

ANYWAY. It was some serious amounts of awesome, and I liked being away, but it's always nice to come home. To my house, not to the surrounding area. Yes.

We took our parents to see Pirates again tonight and MAN. I loved it a lot more the second time. Hngasdkjgalkjfd. I'll love each of them as a seperate entity, you know. Even my mom was like, "OH MAN, NORRINGTON," and was like, "OH HELLS YES," and we pretty much just can't get over Jack Sparrow. He kind of just kills me dead.

I also found out that Sam Huntington, who plays Jimmy in Superman, was that kid in Jungle 2 Jungle, like, the main kid, AND I CAN'T GET OVER IT. Ahahahah oh man. Weird.

Time to look for a job again. SNORE.
