Today I romped.
It was good fun.
My family plus my grandmother and I went to the Clearwater beach to see the effects of the hurricane. It was so fantastic, oh man. There was hardly anyone there. The waves were really high (read: liiike, five feet; we don't get many waves over here), and there were all these "surfers" there who had brought their boogie boards and probably thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread, but actually looked kind of goofy. Oh well. I was very pissed off that I did not bring my bathing suit, as the waves were doing perfect, but small-ish rolls and whatnot. The tourists were very funny.
AND THEN, later, Erin, my mom, and I went to the Dunedin causeway. Oh my gosh, the winds there were at least 50+mph. IT WAS SO FANTASTIC AHAHAH! It was so windy that the sand pelted our legs. It was hard to move against. So, yeah, that was exciting.
Bands are still coming, and twice already big limbs from our trees has knocked out the neighbor's cable. Er.
A blood vessel popped near the iris of my left eye and it burns. I miss my friends extremely so; I feel like I've been locked away for the summer. Imogen Heap is coming to town and I desperately want to go, but I'm pretty sure no one I know has even heard of them. Woe, angst, etc.
