Jul. 8th, 2005 11:41 pmErin and I went and saw the Fantastic Four. It was decent, at some points ridiculously corny, but there was lot's of action and fun and hot people. Ioan Gruffudd, for example, should have been Mr. Tasty instead of Mr. Fantastic, and Johnny Storm was pretty hot. Oh, haha, I made a funny. But, um, yeah, all I could stare at was the muscles, really. And I really liked Dr. Doom, because all I could think about was Dr. Doom's Fear Fall at Islands of Adventure, and I love IoA, so, yeah, put that one together.
We saw a trailer for The New World. I was surprised, as it's about the Pocahontas story. I almost went "WTF!" when it showed Colin Farrell playing John Smith. Holy crap, that's so ridiculous I don't know what to say. That's like having Orlando Bloom play the Terminator. It just doesn't work. O! my head.
The stupid and annoying thing about hurricanes, is that people go into a panic. Even if it's going to ( brush the coast ) I got gas three days ago for $2.11, and today it was up to 2.27!! OH MY GOD IN HEAVEN, THE INSANITY. The shelves at the grocery store are plucked bare, as people say to themselves, "Bread! Canned soup! Water! NECESSITIES OF LIFE. Quick, put everything in the basement! Oh shit, hang on, we live in Florida; there are no basements. To the bathtub!" I've also got a monster headache from the pressure changes, and it's suuuuucks.
To make matters worse, my dad works for our City, and he's on call this weekend. This means that today he had to board windows for the City buildings, and this weekend he'll be on standby in case anyone needs help. I feel so bad for him.
I'm reading the bath scene in GoF. Oh man, I wonder how they're going to do that. LOLOLOLOLZ.
