caithream2010 was pretty interesting.
I was fortunate enough to find a semi adult-like job after having graduated college only a month and a half beforehand. I happily reconnected with the friends I grew up with after moving back home. Still no boyfriends to speak of.
Things were much more awesome on the fandom front. I finally got to meet my girl![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
whispered_theme in LA, and she is SUCH a wonderful person. Misha Collins gave me life advice to get small. Jensen was totally my boyfriend for 3 seconds. Good times.
AND THEN in June I was fortunate enough to go to New York City and have the NYC fangirl crew tolerate me enough to let me sleep on their couch. The city was utterly amazing but my tour guides, more so. ♥
October was made brilliant by Wincon in Chicago and all the fabulous ladies and fandom wonderment therein. I wouldn't trade going to Wincon every year for anything. ♥
And then in November Stef won the gold star for having seen me three times in one year at Disney World (My condolences, Stef.) And that Reg girl dragged me around Orlando like she was in love with the place or something gosssssh.
There was also a roadtrip to Atlanta with my sister to see Sufjan Stevens in concert, which was so so so worth it. Dean Winchester was the hottest fucking vampire ever. Hunger Games stole my heart and made me cry. Tron is possibly becoming my newest obsession.
2011 promises to be... quite different. In two months and eight days, I will be on a plane for Europe, visiting Germany and the Netherlands. I will be making important ~LIFE DECISIONS soon, in regards to what I want to do with this chapter of my life. Right now, I'm thinking by April or May I'll be moving to either Portland, Oregon, or New York City. Or possibly just staying right here and finding an apartment in Tampa or St. Petersburg. It all really depends on what kind of jobs I can find. I'll be sending lots of resumes to publishing companies in NYC, but maybe possibly living withwhispered_theme in Portland would make me die of sheer glee. But quite honestly, I'm having a lot of internal anxiety and angst about all this. I really really don't know what to do, and I'd hate to screw up a decision like this. Staying in Florida longer would make my soul want to shrivel up and die, but with the intense homesickness I had just from when I was living in Orlando... ugh, I just don't know. Expect more angst-filled rambly posts on this in the near future.
As for the immediate future, we're getting ready to go to my aunt and uncles' to celebrate, and I'm making homemade jalapeno poppers, sweet and spicy peanuts, buffalo chicken stromboli and possibly other things with bacon wrapped in bacon and topped with bacon. Ilu guys. See you next yeaaaar! ♥

I totally know that making decisions is tough business, especially when it involves moving and stuff, but your parents seem pretty great, and if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out and I think they would welcome you back with open arms. And even though when you start something, you want to succeed...but even if wherever you go at first isn't the right fit, that's not failure at all - it's just crossing another place off your list as a potential home. Some people are lucky and circle the first one they come to, but a lot of times I think it takes a bit of trial and error to find where you want to be. I'm excited for you - whatever you end up doing and wherever you go. (And dude. SO excited for you to go to Europe! I hope it treats you as wonderfully as it did me.)
