YEAAAAHHHH

Okay, so that forecast isn't actually for where I am. But it's for where I will be this weekend! My sister and I are taking a roadtrip to Atlanta (and Canton, where my aunt and uncle are), Georgia to see Sufjan Stevens in concert at this beautiful venue called the Tabernacle. I get off work at 12pm tomorrow, and we'll drive 8 and a half hours north to our aunt and uncle's place and stay there for the weekend where it'll be COLD and the leaves will have COLORS and AHHH I'M SO EXCITED.

We'll also try to hit one of my favorite restaurants ever, the OK Cafe in the middle of Atlanta (unghhhh baked macaroni and cheese and chicken fried steak with gravy and southern style green beans you will be mahn) and also a Trader Joe's nearby, because when you type in "nearest Trader Joe's to Tampa, Florida" you get... Atlanta. SADFACE.

And oh maaaan, I am so excited for the venue where Sufjan will be playing, it was a 100 year old church now converted into a small, intimate concert setting with apparently amazing acoustics. There might be tears, because some of his songs punch me in the grief bone and seeing and hearing him play them only feet away from me, laksjdf;laskj I can't even make words. I really hope everything goes according to plan!

Alsooooo I hope my aunt and uncle have wifi 'cause I'd really like to watch these guys and their kewl pet snake. Or is it their metaphorical albino peen? Idk idk. One way or another I my next update will be filled with capslock.

Let me flail at you for just one sec. The Tabernacle is hands down my FAVORITE venue in Atlanta for a show. So intimate, ahjkghlksdjgh.

I'm stoked 'cause I'm going to GA this weekend too, lol. And reeeeally stoked about the SUNNY in that forecast.

Yayayay omg that makes me so happy! We're gonna try to get there early so we can stand up near the front, hee. Do you have any advice for parking, though? I know they have a parking garage not too far from it, but do you have to pay for it?

Omg you're gonna be there too? HAHA no way! OH maaan, if only we were gonna be there for just a little bit longer, I'd totally suggest going out for dinner or something. As it is though, thanks to the long ass drive, we'll be pretty crunched for relaxing time ourselves, sigh. Definitely next time, though! :D

Stupid LJ! It never sends comment notifications anymore so I didn't see this 'til now. ;_;

IDK what y'all ended up with for parking but for future reference, there is a pay lot (not a garage, just a lot) basically just a stone's throw from the venue and it's usually fairly cheap. Hope you guys enjoyed the showwww!

We shall definitely have to figure that out for next time - it would be good to see you! I'm heading down FL way next weekend for Harry Potter and Disney, but will be with my fam pretty much the whole time since it's only for a couple of days.

Omg, old churches are my favorite concert venues ever. I saw Sigur Ros in one, and I can't even articulate how amazing it was.

AHHH Sigur Ros, so so jealous! That must've been amazing! And actually, Jonsí just played there on Halloween weekend, and my sister and I were bummed we couldn't go to that one too, haha.
