So! Basically Show is anvil heavy on the fact that Dean is the only voice of reason at this point in time. Cas is, interestingly, reminding me of Sam in season 1 and Sam now. Incredibly driven to find the answers they want, but they also put aside the fact in their minds that finding those answers could get people hurt or killed. This is the third time in three episodes that Dean has objected to a plan of action that would solve a problem, but get people hurt in the process (the neighbors, the baby, and now the kid.) Why? Setting up the pins to be knocked down later, of course. There is a reason they are currently depicting Sam as completely cold-hearted and apathetic. Don't you remember season two? The mystery? That John told Dean a secret in the very first episode of the season was the buildup for, finally! the big reveal halfway into the season. This is the exact same process. I cannot even tell you how much I sincerely doubt the writers would just let Sam's character go by the wayside, MEH, HE'S JUST A HEARTLESS BASTARD NOW, WHATEVS. Lol seriously? No. Boy has seeeeerious issues, and denial coming out of his eyeballs to boot. And I really think that reveal episode will be a certain episode that they showed in the "Soon" preview, which omgomgomgoaijda;gwfieojfw FLAILING FOR THE JUST A SECOND, AAAAHHH okay I'm done.
