I have a really really really really REALLY REALLY bad secondhand embarrassment squick. So I'm like. Going into this episode pretty nervous. When I saw the promo from last week I felt a LITTLE better 'cause hey! It was dudes all dressed up like Sam and Dean which is pretty lolarious. But apparently the actual clips of the episode that were released had Becky and other stuff and ughhh I don't knooooow.

For me, it's not at ALL about being butthurt because Kripke et al is "making fun" (or whatever) of fangirls/(boys?) with the Wincest, blah blah, because none of that pertains to me anyway, you know? Plus I think getting butthurt at SPN is all around funny, so. For me, it's the fact that even when I'm AT Cons, I want to shrink in my chair and hide my face and whimper a little bit because some fangirls are RUDE and RIDICULOUS and make me hate my life. The fact that the writers are taking those things and maybe using them on the SHOW?? Make me want to dig myself a deep hole and throw myself into it. Al;kjfsldjal;s. I really kind of do not want.

Though, hey, maybe I'll be proven wrong. Maybe they won't show fangirls/boys with utterly ridiculous, invasive, embarrassing questions or stories. Maybe fangirls will be the ones to "save the day" from the MotW. I absolutely hate putting judgments on episodes beforehand, so I'm trying not to now, but still. I'll be hiding behind my pillow a good 70% of the time, I'm sure. :\

Also, while I'm being all srs business, I need to talk about the Chicago Con for a sec. So obviously with Jensen's engagement and Jared's supposed engagement (pardon while I lol), pretty much this Con is probably going to be the Perfect Storm for Cray Cray's. Dear flist, let me be so abrasive as to ask you to please please please PLEASE do these two things for me:

1) Wait for conformation. Since we aren't there, we are relying on LJ posts and tweets to get all the info we can. But the last few Cons there were some issues between opinion and truth, and rumors being spread. Especially now with something so instantaneous as Twitter, people can post whatever they want and have that tweet spread far and wide within minutes. So probably the best idea? Wait for a mass confirmation and/or follow a good friend/someone you know who is reliable. Otherwise, you know, shit gets spread like a VD. THREE CHEERS FOR NOT BEING IN HIGH SCHOOL ANYMORE, RITE?? and that brings me to...

2) For the love of God, if any ~DRAMA~ DOES go down? I do not want to know about it. At all. I'm serious. Please please please put it behind a cut. I really want to feel that ignorance is bliss for me, if something does happen. So. Yeah. THANKS.

Umm. With all that said and done, OMG TODAY. GUYS, IT'S 58 DEGREES OUT RIGHT NOW. DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY THIS MAKES ME? NO, YOU DON'T BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIVE IN FLORIDA. It was beautiful today, ugh ugh ugh, I LOVED IT. MORE OF THAT, PLEASE.

THIS, so much. Fandom's knee-jerk reaction time is always its downfall. I'm not even gonna be checking comms or certain journals until well into Tuesday. I want the wank as far from me as possible. It's gross and sticky. /o\

(I am also in Florida. UNCLEAN UNCLEAN. Does this mean we're getting closer to our one full week of winter? D:)

UGH, yes! Bigtime. It's such a human temptation to look at every piece of gossip and whatnot, but looking at it always makes me feel worse in the end. So this time I was like, I can't do that to myself. I'll just skip it completely. 'Cause I'd really just feel so awful for the boys. :(

(Ooh, really! Whereabouts? I'm in Orlando currently but I'll be heading back to my hometown of Clearwater in a month. And GOD I HOPE SO. I am so sick of this 80 degree BS. :((()

If the gossip is REALLY GOOD, I might ask a friend to filter it for me, but otherwise--yeah, no. I'll wait until the gossip becomes fact. XD

(My parents live in Orlando! The Hunter's Creek area. I live in Inverness. Aaaand the next question is usually, "Where?" So, Citrus County. Heh. But I really like Clearwater! I know it pretty well. My mom and dad were teenagers there and my grandparents live in Largo, behind Belleair Bluffs, so we're around Clearwater a lot. Plus it's not as... Orlando-y as Orlando. :))

Ooh, I totally know where Inverness is! How cool! And YES, I really kind of dislike the Clearwater area if only for how crowded it is, but when I came over to Orlando I was like, uhh... take me back to Clearwater now please. It's STUPIDLY crowded over here.

I am super extremely excited for the Harry Potter section of Islands of Adventure to open up in the spring, though. That's the only good thing about Orlando right now in my book, haha!
