I have very, very belatedly realized just how cold it will be in Denver.

Since, you know, snow is in the forecast and all for this five minutes anyway. !!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO, MY REALLY STUPID GLEE FACE, YOU WILL SEE IT. But omg, I WILL BE SO COLD. I don't own winter weather clothes! I have... some thin long sleeve shirts, jeans, a moderate jacket, and a heavy wool peacoat but omggg, I don't know if I can fit the last one in my carry-on suitcase. And it might be too... idk. DRESSY?? I don't know how cold weather outfits work! AND I DON'T OWN BOOTS. ;_; BUT, this girl from work whom I love and adore is going to bring me some stuff, including boots, to try on and borrow! So hopefully I'll be able to do something about that, 'cause guys, I will be a popsicle.

Speaking of weather, IF IT COULD STOP BEING 90+ DEGREES OUT THAT WOULD BE SUPER. I am tiiiired of being sweaty and gross every time I step foot outside. Ugh.

I had been noticing lately that my car has been sluggish to start, so I called my dad and he said it was most likely the battery. $109 later, yep, new battery. So now I'm in a little bit of a money conundrum, but I'm pretty sure I'll be okay until payday this Thursday and whatnot. I guess that this is a LOT better situation than last year when I was all hive-d out. Good times!

Alsooo, I went up to the ABC liquor store and APPARENTLY Djarums are being slowly outlawed in Florida. LAME. So they didn't have any. So ummm if anyone wouldn't mind picking me up a pack I will TOTALLY pay you back at Wincon!

Time to start packing!

Girrrl, it's all about layering! It actually sounds to me like you're just missing a sweater, some gloves, and maybe a scarf. I recommend those because they were invaluable in Chicago in November.

I bought really cheap gloves from Target because after sightseeing and messing with my velcro camera case, they were totally destroyed, but I didn't care. Scarves look awesome and do a great job of keeping your face from falling off if it's windy. A thin longsleeved shirt, a sweater, and your jacket should be enough, but I definitely think you should carry the peacoat if it doesn't fit in the suitcase, because it's adorable.
The worst part in Chicago was my legs being freezing through jeans AND leggings. Hopefully you can borrow some boots and they help with that. D:

Girrrl, it's all about layering!

As a Floridian, yep, layers! Plus, you can rotate the layers (e.g. layer A-B-C-D-E, layer B-C-D-E-A, etc). Sam and Dean Winchester layer. ;-)

Have fun at Wincon, caithream! When I flashed the rom on my cell phone, it reset the weather option, and for a moment, I was seeing 30^ temps for Tampa Bay and thinking 'WTF?'... and then realized it was Celsius. {chuckle} Time for fall weather please, Florida.

D'oh, yes, I was forgetting my gloves and scarf! Yay, that I do have. And I do have a fleece jacket to put UNDER my bigger jacket but hmm... I'll have to see if I have room for that.

Okay, YAY, after flailing about for a little bit and trying a bunch of stuff on, I THINK I have a decent wardrobe. We'll see, I guess, haha! Omg LEGGINGS, though. LEGGINGS MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA.
