Leaving Vegas this morning.

YEAH. RAIN. We got caught in an absolute torrential, can't see five feet in front of you, flash flood rain just outside of Vegas in the mountains. I was like, ...IT RAINS IN THE DESERT WHAT?







Baker, California. Tiny town in the middle of the damn desert. HOT. HOT HOT. Alien Jerky is how they make their money.

The biggest thermometer in the world. TO GOD. (It read 111, by the way.)



The Greek Diner featured in Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. SHUT UP, BEST SHOW EVER.



And this was about 3 hours ago. Now in Encinitas, Cali, at the Leucadia Pizzaria. Goat cheese, bacon, dried tomato, onion, tomato, and pepper pizza. When in Rome, you know?



So Cal sunset and the sliver moon. :D


In summation: Vegas = a bit overrated, but nice to go that one time in your life. Hot like Florida is hot, maybe a little bit more. Waaaaaay too many lemmings people. I got bored with slots in roughly 20 minutes. Desert is AWESOME, and, well, HOT, and it rains?! People actually live in Baker? Or anywhere in the desert? Uggghh Los Angeles, thank God we're not any closer. But everywhere else in California? I kind of love.

TOMORROW: Geek central. And celebs. !!!!!!!!!

aaaawesommmmmme pics though!! Vegas is kind of those rites of passage places, and unless you have a LOT of money, and are amused by mindless entertainment, I think you can only go there once.

Awesome, awesome, and even more spectacular awesome! I love these pictures. Chrissy's back yard still amazes me. Incredible! Did Kate not like the slots, or was she buzzing? LOLZ. Vegas is one place I've only been to for a plane change, so I've yet to discover it. Someday, though. You guys are smokin' hot ... literally and figuratively. Mmmm, pizza looks awesome. Yeah I can't wait till I'm 21 and can gamble. You know the East coast has Atlantic City and the West coast has Las Vegas. A nice medium is Tunica in Mississippi so while I might visit Vegas one day, I have my own gambling funtown just 55 miles away.
Did ou try anything more than slots like Craps or Blackjack or Russian Roulette? That's what I'd do! :D

I actually didn't gamble when I was in Vegas. At all. But I caught some good shows - Cirque du Soleil rocks! And Madame Toussaud's is awesome, too. Did you guys go to see that?
