AHHHH TOMORROW TOMORROW TOMORROWWWW. I'M FLYING OUT WEST TOMORROW. My homework is FINALLY winding down and I finished day 6 of 7 days in a row of working and I'm pretty sure I'm mostly packed? All I have to do is get through the suckiness of tomorrow, and then I can drive to Tampa and meet my parents and sister at the airport and have DINNER and then FLY OUT AT 5:30. I'M SO EXCITEEEED.
Also, it's gonna be hot as BALLS. The day we're in Vegas the high is supposed to be 108, and when we drive from Vegas to San Diego, there's this town called Baker right next to the Mojave Desert where the high is gonna be 114. OH MY GOD. I mean, I live in FLORIDA, but, DAMN. Also, HEE HEE, we're driving through Zzyzx, California. SO AWESOME.
And, oh, okay, if I couldn't be more obnoxious,
Fri:
10:30-11:30 Coraline [...] and Newbery Medal-winning author Neil Gaiman discuss the making of the LAIKA/Focus Features 2009 breakout animated hit film Coraline. (OH MY GOD NEIL GAIMAN LET ME WORSHIP AT YOUR FEET.)
or... 11:45-12:45 FlashForward. (The whole And look for a surprise guest that you won't want to miss! I'm thinking Dominic Monaghan? In which case, !!!!!!!!)
2:30-3:30 Focus Features: 9 [...] Join Shane Acker, Tim Burton, Timur Bekmambetov, and actors Elijah Wood and Jennifer Connelly LIVE for this panel presentation! (ELIJAH WOOD, WHAT. Okay, okay, the movie does look awesome, yes, but ELIJAH WOOD AHAHA OMG.)
and then in the same presentation hall, (and oh sweet Jesus, I'm going to pee myself), 3:45-5:00 Sony Pictures Entertainment: Legion and District 9. Legion: When the last angel falls, the fight for mankind begins. Having lost faith in the human race, a legion of angels descend to Earth to bring about the Apocalypse. (SOUNDS FAMILIAR, NO??) Humanity's only hope lies in a group of strangers trapped in a desert diner and the Archangel Michael himself (Paul Bettany). Appearing on stage: Paul Bettany (A Beautiful Mind, The DaVinci Code), Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights, Supernatural) [...] (I KNOW!! I KNOW!!)
to be followed by, District 9: Peter Jackson makes his eagerly and long-awaited first visit to Comic-Con to introduce you to the world of District 9, which focuses on a world in which extraterrestrials have become refugees in South Africa. (Seriously. Oh my God. Peter Jackson. My brain. Is melting. Out of my ears.)
7:15-8:15 RiffTrax Live Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett RiffTrax.com, Mystery Science Theater 3000) perform a live, hilarious riff to a classic short! (IN WHICH I WILL AGAIN PEE MYSELF BUT FOR ENTIRELY DIFFERENT REASONS. Omg lafkjdla;sdsja I love them so much I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF.)
AND THAT'S JUST FRIDAY.
Saturday we were too late in getting tickets. :(( But that's okay, 'cause there's really nothing that I want to see TOO badly on Saturday. Instead we're going to the San Diego Zoo and then chill on the beach for a while afterwords with some beer and sandwiches. I LIKE.
Sun:
10:30-11:30 Smallville Screening and Q&A (OKAY OKAY, YES, we are attending the panel, but ONLY SO we can get good seats for the next panel. YOU KNOW. THE ONE THAT HAPPENS TO BE...)
1:45-12:45 Supernatural Screening and Q&A Supernatural stars Misha Collins (24) and Jim Beaver (Deadwood), creator/executive producer Eric Kripke (Boogeyman), and executive producers Ben Edlund (Angel) and Sera Gamble (Eyes) present an exclusive sneak peek at footage from the highly anticipated fifth season premiere of this thrill-ride series.
KAJSD;LFKASJD;LSDKLA;FSDK. WE MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME, MISHA COLLINS, after you ditched us at Eyecon! And oh, oh God if I could tell you how excited I am for the clips of the gag reel and the first five minutes of S5, if they do it. AAAHHH I CAN'T EVENNNN.
And... that's all for Sunday, which is fine by me, 'cause we gotta get to bed early that night to drive the loooong drive to the Grand Canyon. :D
Seriously, I'm dreading tomorrow morning so bad ugh. I just know it's going to be absolute chaos. I'm gonna remind my manager again that I absolutely CANNOT stay any second later than 10am. Places to go, people to see, roadtrips to take. :D
