I can't quite understand why this song makes me feel the way I do, but it's Mogwai, so I guess there's no real need. Orchestrated rock is a beautiful thing. If you've got big chunky headphones, this would be the song to use them for.

The Bird and the Bee - Polite Dance Song

The Bird and the Bee is SO CUTE. Happy and funky and all around awesome. This is from a small new CD they just released; if anyone wants it in full, let me know!

Oh yeah, like I haven't been watching THIS all day. IT'S TOO MUCH. I CANNOT HANDLE. Alksjdljkf.

I stumbled upon this fic a few days ago, and I cannot. stop. rereading it. I'm pretty sure my most favorite crossovers in SPN are with Neil Gaiman's American Gods, but with His Dark Materials is just perfect, so perfect. And I didn't even HAVE a hugely passionate love for the HDM trilogy, but this is just so much happymaking, omg.

OKAY, so, now that I'm leaving my job (one more shift, woe!) I have to confess I've been having a weird crush-type thing on this guy and it's just, I DUNNO. I've been TOTALLY shamelessly flirting these past couple shifts and it's not like, I dunno, I'm RIDICULOUSLY ATTRACTED to him or anything, he's just sweet and gentlemanly and kinda dorky and he CLEANS UP AFTER HIMSELF on bar; it's nigh impossible to find a boy who's clean on bar. Here's a pic of him I took on my cellphone at Christmas... he was like, HEY, these cup sleeves look like armbands for SUPERHEROES. And went LOL and told him to use his apron as a cape, and yeah. SIGH. In any case, I told him about going to this new store yesterday and how all the girls working there were caked in makeup and gorgeous and how out of place I'd probably feel, and he was all, you don't need to be caked in makeup to be gorgeous, okay? and I was like, mweeeee okay. In conclusion: I LIKE BOYS.

I think I'm gonna brave watching No Rest for the Wicked again tonight. I've only watched it ONCE since it aired. HOLD ME.

Oh man, I love Mogwai! The first time I heard them was when I watched the movie Wicker Park, which is a seriously twisted movie, but it has one of the BEST put together soundtracks ever.

OMGBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love dorky boys. He seems dorky, and that is tons of love.

See, that just confirms what you were wondering about a while ago. He totally was into you and wanted to hang out and/or date you. That's too cute. It's too bad you're moving now because you can't keep shamelessly flirting with no repercussions. Perhaps the shameless flirting comes with the knowledge that you're leaving here very, very soon and you don't have to see him again lol. But, that gorgeous comment is so freakin' cute. I love when boys toss out compliments like that. It's just...adorable.

I tivo-ed it and watched it. Then, watched it again. And have watched various pieces of it since. I'm kind of retardedly in love with Sam and Dean crying and being all, "I LOVE YOU BROTHER!" even if they won't say the words. And, I'm sick enough to laugh at Dean being all "BAAAAAH HELLHOUNDS. COME SEE MY INNARDS BECOME OUTARDS!" with the squirty blood and ripped up skin and the bellering lol. When Sam cries though, it's not funny anymore :S
