flusteredspeech got up about 4:50 this morning so I could take her to the airport, sigh, so now this weekend is officially over. Trying not to give in to the post-con blues, ick. I said Screw You to going to classes today, though, so that's something, and tonight we're gonna go out to eat at this place that has amaaaazing sushi, and maybe I'll order some saki just for the hell of it, haha.
ANYWAY,
May I just say, first of all, that this Con was approximately 203948203 times better than Creation. There were a few bumps in the road, sure, but for what I payed for? I got to sit WAY closer at the panels, we got to HANG OUT WITH THE GUESTS (this is the biggest thing in my book, because if it was Creation, you'd be having to pay for that too) and I just had a fantastic time all around, SO. Maybe I'm just REALLY EASY to please, I dunno. (Read: YES, VERY MUCH SO.)
UM, okay. There was a lot of drinking. God there was a lot of drinking. So, pretend!Dane Cook was this dude named Ian who ran the game room who look a LOT like Dane Cook and he was incredibly loltastic and because I was SO DRUNK on Friday night when we first met he called me "Sarah the Lush." The name stuck all weekend. Samantha Ferris was down there too and she was waaaay drunk, smacking Ian's ass and pulling up his jeans because he had a "saggy butt." He's like, well WHAT, should I wear my pants all the way up here? and pulls his jeans up pretty high, and Sam was like, noooo, and just grabbed hold of the back of his jeans and TUGGED AHAHA and he was like, MY BALLS. Absolutely hilarious.
We went back and forth up to the game room and outside with Sam, 'cause Chad and Gabe were in the game room for a pretty long time.idril_telrunya (Chrissy) and I played Guitar Hero together (and because I was still SO DRUNK I was bouncing around and doing retarded things, oh my God) while Chad was right next to us, playing a Mortal Kombat game with another girl. He got bored eventually and watched us for a while, hee. Gabe had this friend who was HILARIOUS, and also really really drunk, and he sang REALLY LOUDLY on the Rockband while Gabe had an all out WAR with this one chick who was really good at this video game I can't remember. It was quite adorable.

Before TIH started they brought out everyone (except Alona and Jared, as they hadn't arrived yet). SANDY, MY GOD, SO ADORABLE.

Uhhm, I only got about two hours of sleep that night because I was uhhhh too busy feeling nauseous and puking just a little. HAHA.
Saturday was a complete whirlwind. All my vids of the panels are here, if you haven't seen them yet. The banquet was whatever, because I pretty much knew that no celeb would make it around to our table and I didn't (and still don't) really care. I have a LOT to say on the expectations people put on these kinds of events at Cons, but that's another long post for another day (which I will most definitely do, mark my words.)

Someone was running around with a microphone so we could all hear the questions, and at the beginning she points to someone and says, "You?" and then IMMEDIATELY after she's like, "OH MY GOODNESS, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to point!" and I was like, AWWW BABE.
Carol Lee had breakfast with her from the auction and we all learned a few interesting tid bits about her and Jared, heh.
- They've decided not to go on a honeymoon so they can save up for a house
- Jared get's really REALLY hyper sometimes and apparently Sandy said that sometimes she has to act like his MOM, omg hilarious
- Jared's pretty much ready to have kids right now but Sandy is all UHHH, hang on a sec! (I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW I WAS ROLLING AROUND ON THE FLOOR OKAY)
- Jared proposed to her with her mother's wedding ring, but he's looking right now for another ring so that can be theirs. She wants to wear her mother's ring, but Jared wants to get a ring that'll symbolize them and their relationship too, which she completely understands.
- Alona is gonna help out with the wedding planning, since she just got married herself.
There was a bit more, but I can't remember, so I'll have to ask Carol Lee, heh.
OH, and I don't know if the video is out there, 'cause I didn't get it, but Sandy wants SO BAD for Jared to be on Dancing with the Stars AHAHHAAA. She says dancing is the one thing that he REFUSES to do in front of her 'cause he's embarrassed by it, but she thinks if she can conquer her fear of singing in front of people (the Pussycat Dolls, which Jared urged her to do), she wants Jared to do DwtS.
GAAAAABE oh my God, you guys, I'M JUST SO IN LOVE WITH HIM. And he just got engaged, aww! Also, he has the dorkiest laugh EVER.
At the banquet later that night. SUP CLEAVAGE.
And then later we were wandering around and saw Gabe at the bar and Chrissy asked for a picture with him, SO ADORAAAAABLE. He was like, I won't tell the staff, it'll be like, (he looks around), huh, what, oh, CAMERA! and poses. And this was when I told him, dude, I hope this isn't freaking you out TOO bad, and he was like, NO, OMFG, I'M LOVING THIS SO MUCH. It kills me.
There was more drinking that night. I think. I can't really remember. HAHA.
And then it was SUNDAY and JARED!
One could quite possibly set up residence in those dimples.

You can't beat the originals, people, SO DON'T EVEN TRY.) BUUUUT Carol Lee had an extra space in the Hunter's photo op with Jared and Jim so I was like, OKAY, whatever. Jim totally put his arm around me you guys lololol. I'm not going to show it 'cause I look kind of awful and it's nothing special, SO.
HOWEVER.
I did get to stay in the room and watch all the Hunter photo ops with Carol Lee (and this adorable Australian chick, I can't remember her name, eek!) 'cause they had Royalty seats and I was riding on their coattails, ha. Jim was already in there and when Jared came in they hugged and did manly backslapping AND THEN OH MY GOD YOU GUYS, Jared TOTALLY did the tree-climbing pose ON JIM. I NEARLY DIED AHAHAHAA. It was just fantastic to see them ribbing on each other and being giggly and doing all the pictures. EEEEE.
We talked togigglingkat and she was more than okay with Chrissy jumping in with her for the photo and yeah, oh wow, it's kind of amazing:

And then Kate and Chrissy had a photo with Jared and omg POOR KATE she was so nervous but their photo made me DIE when I saw it. They wanted fanboy!Jared and OH YEAH:

Just for shits and giggles I brought my Jared photo op from Chicago along and everyone was like, GET IT SIGNED so I was like FINE and I did. Nothing epic there, just Jared being his adorable self.
Later that night we were all set to go out to Downtown Disney, but we walked by the game room and OH MAN. The room smelled like liquor and JIM and Chad and Gabe and Sam were all there so we were like, SCREW THAT. Chrissy went up to Jim (who had a drink in his hand) and told him, "I'm totally sorry for moving you into position during the photo op, that was probably kind of awkward," and he was like, "Oh, that's TOTALLY okay, you moved me in a COMPLETELY different way, lemme tell ya." I THINK THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN EYEBROW WAGGLES IF HE WEREN'T SO DRUNK. IT WAS AMAZING.
Steve Carlson was down there too (THE DUDE IS SHORT, LOL) playing Rockband and Chrissy totally played with him, singing while he did guitar. Very cool. At one point we ran into Amber (affectingly) and we complained that we were all out of liquor and she was like, COME UP TO OUR ROOM RIGHT NOW, FOR SERIOUS. So pretty much the rest of the night I carried around a bottle of Sprite and a bottle of pear-flavored rum, and Lauren a bottle of Sprite and Absolut vodka. THAT'S how classy we are.
So we're running around, playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero, going outside and seeing Sam and pretend!Dane (who insisted I give him a kiss on the cheek everytime I saw him) and generally having fantastic time. We were DRUNK and hungry, and apparently so was Steve Carlson. Towards the end of the night we hung out with him, Vonni, Kenny, pretend!Dane, and some other random people. Steve was SO EXCITED about his phone, and because we were all so hungry he goes, LOOK GUYS. He pulls out his blackberry phone and said, "SOOO, say I want Papa Johns. Which I do." He goes to type in Papa Johns and then goes, "WHUPS, just got a text from Danneel," and I was like, "Whatever, NAME DROPPER," ahaha. He tries to go and order but has no idea what the hell he's doing, and Kenny ordered some anyway, SO. I went into the game room to play a little Rock Band and then went outside and Sam and pretend!Dane and Steve and others were all down there talking. Steve was all, "MY GOD, WHERE IS THE PIZZA. I could have made it in my room by now. Turned on the shower and cooked it with the goddamn steam." A little after that Sam took off for bed and pretend!Dane went up stairs too, so it was just me, Chrissy, Kate, and Lauren and Steve hanging out down there and you could TELL he wanted to bolt, AHAHA. I guess that's why he and Jensen are such good friends, because of their mad avoidance skillz and the deer-in-headlights look of being caught alone with fangirls (WHO WEREN'T DOING ANY FANGIRLING, okay, we're not that dumb.) It was kind of adorable, though, that when we walk back inside the hotel we went up the escalator and he ran up behind us and said, "Pizza's here!" Heeee.
Later, we decided we needed pictures.

Kate, Carol Lee, and I came back and we ordered nachos and buffalo wings through room service and wanted to die 'cause we felt so gross, ahaha. AND THEN Carol Lee wanted to watch AHBL 1 and 2, wtf is wrong with her, so we DID and I might have cried, just a bit. SIGH.
Good times, for serious. Apparently there's going to be the same Con in September, but with Jensen? SIGN ME UP, BABY.
Aljfal;sjd I am SO not looking forward to jumping back into the real world tomorrow, but all I'm thinking about now is THREE WEEKS until the end of the semester, where I never ever have to step foot into USF again. It will be a glorious day, lemme tell ya.

I took a picture with him Sunday afternoon after the con and I seriously look like I'm trying to cart him away and he's happy about it. He was seriously so much fun. I said to him, "You were my favorite all weekend!" "You have good taste." And when I told him I was more entertained by his panel than Jared's, he pretty much squeed his pants lol.
I would say more about all this, but mostly, adorableness all around and um, wow at Jared's balls lmao.
