It's been in the 80's these past couple days, and humid to boot, and I want to cry because summer is just around the corner and WOULD IT BE SO MUCH TROUBLE TO BE COLD DURING "WINTER." Apparently, Florida. Apparently.
My little sister, who is not so much little anymore, as she is 17 and an inch taller than me, ditched school today to see what it would be like to be employed as a nurse. Yeah, she uh, pretty much watched a five hour triple bypass heart surgery. It's so weird how different we are. I have to shield my eyes every time I watch HOUSE, you understand, and she sits there and can watch heart surgery. I would have been puking my guts out. That really makes me proud of her, you know? That's such a great profession. Plus, she had these adorable lavender scrubs on, God, it sucks when your younger sister is so much cuter than you are.
I ditched school today too, as one of my classes was canceled and I didn't feel like driving 60 miles for one class (which I do anyway on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but that's beside the point), and I got SO much homework done. I'm really happy. Reading Hemingway always puts me in a mood, though, it's kinda weird. I love being caught up.
EyeCon peeps! Apparently the Banquet has been filled up 75%, so if we're gonna buy our tickets, we'd better do it soon. I THINK I figured the seating out; that your place in line depends on when you bought your actual seating ticket for the Con in general, which I did for all of us at the same time, so we SHOULD be all seated together. And buy the Ten Inch Hero tickets!! Is it kind of sad that this might be what I'm looking forward to the most at this Conbesides opening up a CAN while playing Chrissy at Guitar Hero? OH PRIESTLY.
A SUPERNATURAL RPG. AHAHA OH MY GOD. Alysha, we might have to get this. It would answer such burning questions as, COULD I get more dorkier? Is that even POSSIBLE at this point? WOULD I be able to make Dean Winchester a dwarf (shut up, both Sam and I would think it would be HILARIOUS)? I might really need to find out.
TOMORROW IS THURSDAY HOMG YAY. \o/

We're a go, right? I don't want to buy a ticket for the banquet and have you guys go, "Yeah, we've decided to just get DRUNK in our room instead, GO EAT YOUR SPAGHETTI ALONE, KATE." Maybe Jared would feel bad for me and spoon-feed me from his lap then, however?
... ALDSKFJASLK OH NO, JARED'S LAP.

Date: 2008-02-07 02:41 am (UTC)LIKE I WOULD MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT IN FRONT OF JARED. I was thinking that we should drink BEFORE the banquet but uh, I don't want to have any problems with the spoon finding my mouth or whatever. That might be rather embarrassing. But yeah! If Chrissy, Char, and Jeffrey (??) are a-go, then I say yes! :D
I THINK JARED'S LAP COULD ACCOMODATE FOR TWO. Alkajsfd;oawje!!

Date: 2008-02-07 03:11 am (UTC)Yeah, it's by badge number. If you're #1, you get first choice of seat. #94, 94th choice, et cetera. I already know I'm too far back to get a celebrity at my table so my friends and I fully plan on being the celebrity at the table, because we're just awesome like that :P

Date: 2008-02-07 04:33 am (UTC)Awesome! I was wondering but didn't want to sound like an idiot asking, ahaha. Yeah, I think they said the celebs would be going around to the tables anyway, so I could care less if I get to sit with one, heh. I'll be having a good time with my friends, so!

Date: 2008-02-07 08:38 am (UTC)I couldn't have one of my friends sitting anywhere NEAR Jared anyway. Everytime he laughed or moved suddenly, she'd end up choking or flinging the food on her fork. It's safer farther away lmao.

Date: 2008-02-07 07:04 am (UTC)Why didn't it have a cover picture??
There's actually a really, really good RPG called Hunter: The Reckoning.
It totally reminds me of Supernatural, Buffy, etc. And I LOVE it.
But I don't have any of the books, or anyone to run a game. EPIC FAIL. D:

Date: 2008-02-07 07:18 am (UTC)WELL, seeing as how I've never played an RPG at ALL... I think this should be remedied, somehow! HEEE.
