I feel like I'm a horrible person for disliking Bela. It seems like all of fandom wants her to mount Dean and ride him to kingdom come and I just kind of want to punch her in her little, smarmy face and tell her GFTO. It seems like Dean goes out of character when she's around. He reverts to this 4-year-old boy who couldn't hit the carpet with a cap gun. I don't like when Dean is dumbed down to start with and it just seems like they're using her as a plot device for Dean to get some and for Dean to give big laughs when he does something dumb. I have mad love for smart!Dean and his little EMF building skills so watching Dean get all "I'll just twiddle my thumbs and drool" makes me a little...bitchy lol. I find myself liking Ruby more and more on the re-watches though, Katie Cassidy, not withstanding.

Ahahahahaha, there were so many lines I was convinced were aimed DIRECTLY at the fangirls, especially the "We should have angry sex"/"Don't objectify me" exchange. I was HOWLING with laughter through most of that. And the writers really seem to be enjoying making Sam uncomfortable right now, don't they? I mean, seriously. I'm thinking just the last few episodes... he tries to exorcise someone who isn't possessed, and is quite chagrined afterwards, and he was definitely uncomfortable in the faery tale ep, and then in this one, he gets to be pawed all over by Mrs. Havisham (no, I didn't get that one off the bat, but I looked it up afterwards and had a chuckle.) Dean in a tux is effing hot, isn't he? :P (But we shouldn't objectify him.)
