STORY TIEM.
SO, tonight, at work, it was very boring and whatnot, until I looked out the windows and suddenly! Seven, eight police cars right at our curb. This SUV, apparently, had be going down the road and throwing stuff out the window (drugs?) and there were reports of a weapon in the car. So they pulled into our shopping complex and were suddenly surrounded by the police cars. I watched, watched a police officer dude pull out a freaking huge M-16 and aim it at the SUV. Other officers had their pistols out and pointed at the car. All of us just kind of sat there and watched in amazement. I must also point out that people are COMPLETELY RETARDED and walked right around the officers with the guns to get to there cars. Absolutely freaking amazing. Then we watched two of the four people in the SUV get arrested, hurrah.
A couple hours later one of the police officers who was at the scene came in for a drink, and she told us that someone had put a gun to someone's head in the JC Penney's at the mall across the street. The cops had thought that the group in the SUV was responsible, but no dice. Instead, they found a knife and some other paraphernalia in the car. Dude with the gun wasn't found.
SUCH EXCITEMENT. And also really freak-out worthy, did I mention that?
ALSO, the gossip was passed around to me that yesterday, at the Marble Slab that's right next door to us, this one chick was putting in something to mix with the auger, a really really sharp auger, and it accidentally fell off and sliced her four fingers off at the knuckle. HOLY GOD. I cannot handle stuff like that, CANNOT HANDLE. I will have nightmares tonight okay.
Tomorrow I work an AWESOME shift (2:00-6:00!) and then I see Pirates again with my parents! My ass is already numb with anticipation!
Okay, that didn't sound quite right. Um.
And now, bed.

Date: 2007-06-30 06:37 am (UTC)The only auger I know of is when you're skiing and as you're turning the snow is too soft so your ski sort of wedges into it or something...

Date: 2007-06-30 06:44 am (UTC)So the gunman's still out there? Scary.
I wouldn't believe the finger story unless there's concrete proof. I think it'd be in the news if something like that happened. It could be just gossip... although, it's a plausible truth.
