Sigh.

You know, my general attitude towards the whole thing was just, "FINE. Whatever."

I kind of figured out that Charlie was going to die thanks to LJ-land, but I kind of put two and two together; I wasn't outright spoiled, or anything. It was heartbreaking, but not as heartbreaking as it would have been if Charlie was taken by surprise and died. The fact that he pretty much knew and accepted it made it better. The only thing that really REALLY kills me is what's going to happen with Clare and Aaron now. AUGH. That's what's heartbreaking.

But his death? Was SO UTTERLY POINTLESS. Infuriatingly pointless. I haven't been following, um, pretty much ANY news on Lost or the actors, but I kind of fell in love with Dom all over again when he was on Conan, and that, too, kind of made me think he'd be booted. What I'm really confused about is why? I mean, when Lost first got started, we got all these interviews with Dom and about how he got into a bit of a depression period after LotR finished, which is understandable. But he was SO excited for this new project and that he'd begun, so... why all of the sudden did he want to leave? I mean, good on him for wanting to pursue other things but... I dunno. I thought he was really excited about this show.

I think the only reason I'm sticking around for this show now is for Sawyer, Sayid, Hurley, and Sun and Jin because they are my FAVORITEST COUPLE EVER. Omg when Jin spoke English. SOB.

When Kate came out of the shadows at the end, it went like this:

My mom: HAHAHA.

I don't even know. Whatever. So the future is bleak and full of boo hoos because they got off, and they are invariably supposed to be stuck there ~*~*forever~*~*. Just... whatever.

So. Question is now, who was in the casket? Sawyer, I'm guessing. Kate probably didn't marry either of them because she is LAME and it was probably SAYID she had to go home to, though, no, Sayid is smarter than that. Hm. I don't even know why I'm asking. I dun care.

It's a well-discussed fact that there are a lot of pranks played on the set of Supernatural. Have you ever been on either the receiving end of one?

Oh ya. It’s tough…I feel for them…they guys are on set, 12-15 hours a day, 5 days a week…..you need to burn it off a bit. Jared is the usually the instigator, and yes, I have been at the receiving end of the pranks. Painful and gross as they can be. Canned farts, real farts, moved equipment, food and beverage fights, scenes blown purposely……but don’t worry…they get him back….there was a scene where Jared had to climb down a manhole with a gun in one hand, and a cast on the other……after he got about 5 feet down they doused him with two full buckets of cold water…..stuff like that. The cast and crew are very close. It is a compliment.

AHAHA. Just... BOYS. No one understands how much I want to go to the set. NO ONE.

And, just, yeah, reason number 2384308 why Jensen makes me stupid: he goes and does things this. So ADORABLE. And I do that too. :>

i was really sad about that too, how dom was really happy with everything and everything was going well for him. like, i was so sad that he was going to get killed off but then i read this (http://img105.imageshack.us/img105/3746/ew0525img949wa9.jpg) and it made me feel tons better. how he said that it won't kill Dominic if Charlie dies.

and yeah, claire & aaron next season will be so heartbreaking! D:

Colleagues and I had a discussion on why Charlie gave up. I think he decided it was going to happen eventually and at least this way people would get rescued, especially Claire and Aaron. Oh, but it's going to be sad when Claire finds out he's gone.

I think he still should have tried to get out. Like the Heroes quote says: the future isn't written in stone.

Speaking of the future, things seem dismal for Jack.

Hee, well, no, I don't watch Heroes, but I totally agree! Just because Desmond said they wouldn't get off the island if he didn't die didn't mean there wouldn't be any alternatives! I think they could have figured out something. But yeah, it could be that he figured it would happen eventually anyway. Sigh.

At first, I thought his death was pointless, too, but then I realized that it wasn't. He saved the station. See, when whathisface blew that porthole open, because of what Charlie did, it kept the station from sinking. He saved Desmond. If he'd just run, the whole place would have flooded, but because he shut and locked the door, it kept the flood to just that room.

Well, doesn't it shut from the other side, too? Couldn't he have run out and then closed it? But if that were the case, then Desmond could have opened the door and saved him. I don't think what he did was as stupid as it initially appeared.

And I really have to say - I was very impressed with Charlie in this last episode. He did an awesome job, and showed a lot more dimensions than he got to in past episodes.

I dunno, I mean, I know it was in slo-mo and all, but it looked like it wasn't filling up that quickly... he and Desmond were going to have to go back the way they came anyway, diving back under the station to get to the surface, so, meh, I dunno. And don't get me wrong, I ADORED him through the episode and his death was heartwrenching and very well done but I was too busy shouting in aggravation at my tee vee instead of being really sad at his death. Heh.

I am! Sometimes. I've just had a crazy work schedule the past couple days and I haven't been home/went to bed early, etc. Also, I'm trying to write (which, really, before was like squeezing blood from a rock, but I think I'm getting better), which demands my radio silence as well.

Charlie's death was pointless, which pisses me off. I have no emotional attachment to the show or any character on it, and Charlie used to be my fav. but it was so stupid!
