caithreamGUESS WHAT I JUST BOUGHT.
Omg isn't it SEXY. 1.86 GHz! 1 GB of memory! 120 GB harddrive! Originally priced at $1063, but Dell's got a nice little deal going on right now, so it was definitely only $799. I AM SO EXCITED. Now my laptop will stop yelling at me because it is low on virtual memory haha. My parents went halvsies on it with me, as it's a belated birthday present. Weee!
My dad came home from the hospital this afternoon and he's been walking around and everything! I'm like, UM, didn't you just have back surgery less than 24 hours ago? and he's like YEP. My dad ftw.
Tomorrow is my last day of classes! FINALLY. No more driving to Tampa back and forth for three whole months. Plus I finished (or should be finishing right now omg shh) my AML final which is actually due a week from today, but I can just hand it in early tomorrow! I AM AWESOME.
I have stumbled across another Icelandic band (though I don't think they play the noseflute BWAH) called Royksopp, and while they aren't spectacular, they're still pretty great! I have been playing this one song NONSTOP since yesterday: Royksopp - Alpha Male. It's kinda... ambienty-electronic, very nice, very pretty. Think Zero 7 mixed with Sigur Ros, maybe.
