Dec. 4th, 2006 10:42 amWorking an eight-hour shift at my old job (a data processing company)? I would come home angry, brain-dead, and sometimes close to tears.
Working an eight-hour shift at Starbucks?
Kind of awesome.
I love being on bar, I love my coworkers (minus the World's Biggest Asshole, with whom I have to work with on Saturday and Sunday and now I feel so depressed), and I love the fact that I finally getting it all, especially when I close. It's a nice feeling.
Very early pilot draft script of Supernatural. It's... interesting. Dean smoking is both repulsive and kind of a turn-on. I can't say I'd be as interested in the show if it did end up going that direction. But I honest to God love Kripke's little quirks in the script, and he's just so in love with the characters and telling this story, and it makes me so happy. ♥
teh_music??!! DAMMIT.
I have this urge to just get up and go, leave town, go somewhere, anonymous, just driving, and hell, why can't I? Why?

Date: 2006-12-05 07:04 am (UTC)I don't go to Starbucks in Brissy, because I feel bad about supporting an American multi-national chain as opposed to supporting Aussie ones, but you just reminded me of the Caramel Macchiatto's and White Chocolate Mocha's that I was addicted to over there. Mmmmmmmm.
Roadtrip? Take me, take me!

Date: 2006-12-05 09:56 pm (UTC)Hee, I understand. Starbucks just ran out another famous coffee place in the US called Barnies, and they are no longer. It made me sad, because they both had their own little niceties about them, but, as it seems, Starbucks is pretty much taking over.
...but NGAH caramel macchiattos and white chocolate mochas and PEPPERMINT MOCHAS why must they be so addictive. Num num.
Oh, how badly do I want to. We could listen to GROBAN and STALK PEOPLE and it would be glorious. ♥
