When they were at the hoodoo painter dude's place and Sam pushed the "You don't really want to die, do you?" sympathy, what, four times? I literally said out loud, "Oh, Sam." He's just. He's so concerned about others to the point of breaking someone else, whether by annoyance or sheer force of the puppy dog eyes. My hearrrrrt.

Oh mother of love, when the guy was talking about saving his wife, Dean's so cynical and Sam's just, "Dude, can it," and I just love the fact now that Sam's the one keeping Dean in line, as opposed to, for example, Wendigo, when Sam flies off the handle and Dean has to pull out the Big Brother guns. And Deeeaaaan, we really know what that speech was about, seriously. AUGH.

AlrightalrightALRIGHT with this demon business. Augh. When she saw the devil's trap under the car I was all, "OH NO Dean's SOL!" and, ahaha, uh, I did not see second devil's trap coming at all, so! DEAN SO SMRT. I really did think he was being tempted into trading himself for John, and God, just, so well played from Jensen's part, the hurt on his face.

DEAN. SPEAKING LATIN. GUYS. Nothing in the entire world is hotter than this. I NEED THIS AS AN MP3, PROBABLY.

As for the demon chick, when it was exorcised, I then thought that the whole time it was The Demon, not just a demon? I don't know. The fact that soulgatherer!demons appear right after a summoning... I thought it was a demon in physical form, not just a possession. I'm really inclined to think it was The Demon himself, as he told Dean about John (MY HEART cannot handle this, cannot handle John suffering and how the boys are taking it AGHH), and knowing exactly where to hit on Dean's weakspots: family. "John, Dean, and Sam, all together at last." And the fact that the chick was all confused after the exorcism... I really thought it was The Demon possessing someone to get his kicks on Dean and worm his way a little further into Dean's self-destruction. But. I dunno?

The ending. Oh God. Never mind the fact that it was just so Dean, just so what I would picture him to do, Sam asking if he really did consider trading his own life for John's, and Dean just an angry flip of the music... it spoke volumes (um, no pun intended.) Freaking brilliant, and yeah, I may or may not have cried just a bit becaused of the Big Damn UNRESOLVEDNESS, and Sam didn't even try to say anything after that. My heart.

There is not enough keyboard mashing in the WORLD that would convey my excitement/nervousness/flailing about the coming episodes. ZOMBIES! SAM INFECTED! YOU'VE GOT RED ON YOU! MORE PSYCHIC CHILDREN! DEAN! TELLING! SAM! And that? I cannot even deal with it, I swear, that two second clip killed me so bad I actually started to tear up again. December 7th and beyond is just... too far. I love my show. Love.

I completely agree with everything you said (including the squeeing of Jared on the guitar thingy - I LOLed so much through that).

I totally saw the conundrum playing out on Dean's face - and big props to Jensen for the acting in this ep cuz that was just awesome!

Different eyes on the demon though - if it was The Demon, the eyes woulda been yellow but they were red on this one, and only flashed colour - The Demon's eyes stay yellow.
