UM, let me just start off by saying that not only did my TVGuide tell me Summer Glau would be in this episode, but imdb.com too and MAN DID I GET SCREWED OVER. DAMMIT. I was SO looking forward to all the Firefly/Supernatural crossovers!! But seriously, I was disappointed that it was not, in fact, Summer. >:(((((

Mom's grave/headstone oh my heartsssss. Oh Sammy. Just the fact that, it was Sam and not Dean who buried the dogtags (John's from the Marines, I'm guessing?) it's just. It wasn't that Dean was ignoring his mother, he's Dean, he's got his own way to grieve, but Sam, who can't even remember what his mother looked like.... ow. Too much.

Sam is digging. He really is. And Dean was (was!) so just shutting down and closing up, and that line, "Do you wanna hit me again?" and oh Sam could you get any more blunt? It's not like Dean wants to be reminded of that, but, oh yeah, Dean was so gearing up to lay the smackdown if Sam went on. Augh. It's like... both of them know exactly what to say and what not to say. Sam says what needs to be said regardless if Dean looks like he's about to choke a bitch, and Sam really is that push that Dean needs. Because if Sam didn't say the things he said, Dean would just be digging the hole deeper around him and GAAHH BROTHERS. I CAN'T TAKE THIS.

And? Just, kind of, you know, everything. I'm pretty sure I fall in love with him all over again each episode. And Sam? Darling, sweetheart, honeybuns, I love you to all kinds of bits and pieces, but we have got to do something about your hair. It was okay at the beginning of the season, but I think it somehow has a mind of it's own now, and is just doing whatever it feels like. Or something. EMO-MOP. I'M SORRY. I loved it. As much as I hate to say it? SupremelyAngry!Dean is so hot I don't even know what to do. That Sam had to nearly drag his ass out of the dad's house. Just. Wow.
