A bunch of us had an all-nighter at Jimmy's last night. OH MAN. That was fun. Included: smoking cigars, watching This Is Spinal Tap and Supertroopers, soymilk (MMM), walking to Philippe Park at 5:30, waiting, watching the sun rise, getting bitten to death by sand fleas, finding fiddler crabs covering the palm trees and sidewalks, watching an armadillo look for food not two feet in front of us, and saluting Odet Philippe's grave.

I wish I brought a camera.


All this time, I don't think I've ever purposefully sat down and watched the sun rise. It was very zen.
