WOW.

Eeee!

It was so bloody cool. Awesome awesome. Where to start? Well, let's see...

The beginning I thought was a bit slow. The dialogue didn't really seem to pertain to anything, just a bit of jabber here and there. But when it got going, wow, it got going. Johnny Depp... uhm, *thud*. The eyeliner look totally took me. Loved it. He was so so funny. Just his body language and the way he delivers his lines is fantastic. Hilarious. I wonder if he is just as witty in real life. Love men with wit. Anyway, so then there's this Orlando Bloom guy, right? Long hair in a pony tail, wears leggings, great with a sword. Hell, by the end of the movie I think he grew on me. Why, oh, why. It was that bloody hat with the feather. He really did look good with it on. I didn't see him as Legolas at all (perhaps the blonde wig is a bit of a helper...). But, I don't know... his acting seems sort of stoic. The way his voice is when he's just talking... it reminded me too much of Legolas and his non-apathetic way of things. But maybe that's just how he is. He yells with emotion, though, heh. But, I must unfortunately admit that my stomach did a little flip-flop in certain aspects of him. But it was Cap'in Jack Sparrow that really did me in. Squeeing like a school girl, I was. Ah, but we can't forget Miss Swan (or Turner). Gawd, she is so hot. If anyone was to turn me lesbian it would be her and/or Rebecca Romijn Stamos. She was fanastic, a really great actress. Oh my gosh, Geoffrey Rush was amazing. He was so perfect for that role. That creepy, snide, and almost humorous acting was great.

The best friggen part... when Captain Barbossa (that's what it was, right?) put the sword right through Jack Sparrow... holy crap my jaw dropped. Then omgwee! he stepped right into moonlight and was a skeleton. Friggen awesome. Ahh. Loved it.

I loved the other pirates. Especially the guy with the pop-out eyeball and his friend. The skeletons shown through moonlight was awesome. Very cool. For some reason I just loved the ships. I think I have a thing for historical fiction. Seeing ships like that was really neat. I loved the scene with the men in the jailcell trying to get the dog with the keys. Right from the ride, heh. But, just like the whole movie... it was the whole atmosphere that I loved. The rogue villans steal away the bonneh lass (died when he said that, I did) and a hero (or two) come to save the day. But it was done cheesily like some Disney movies do. It seemed to fit perfectly. It just, well, sort of inspires me to write. I'm a sucker for those kinds of movies, if they're done well.

Orlando was TEH CHOSEN ONE OMG.

*Sigh* I love movies way too much.

I have a huge hangnail and it hurts really bad. :(

Fucking fantastic, it was indeed. I agree with almost all you said, except a little bit. I saw very little of Legolas in William. Except that he was fucking hot. I guess I know what you mean about the voice, a little. It's soft in the same way, but still spoken and delivered very different to me. It seemed a bit rougher and more...well, human I thought he did wonderful.

Anywho. GAAAH! I can't wait to see it again. Johnny D was indeed fantastic as well. Great acting. The swagger was great. I too fell in love with the eyeliner.

Yeah, I don't know. I'm thinking that's just the way he dramatically speaks. Or maybe I'm just a bit nit-picky with him, hee hee.

The swagger, ahhh! Did you see that one part when he was running off screen and he had his arms up and flailing? Ahahah! So funny. Methinks he is my new obsession... hmm...

Well, he seems, in my eyes, so fucking sexy that there HAS to be something to pick on. So, even if not for the same reason, I can understand the nick-pickiness.

I don't think I saw that particular swagger. But Im going to be rewatching this movie alot, analyzing every moment...I'll find it sooner or later! In the meantime...I am with you. New obsession may be arising...*ponders*

Black *drool* eye *drool* liner *drool*.

Though, was it black?

I think that Captain Jack Sparrow is just about the best pirate I have ever seen. (Hee!) In the beginning, when he's coming into the harbor standing atop the sail of that sinking ship, he's just so.....perfectly piratesque. Guh. Just killed me. And I loved his sense of humor, his pseudo-drunken delivery of everything, just the whole character. We plan on seeing it a couple more times in the theatre. And then buying it as soon as it comes out. Ha! Because of the damn movie, the hubby got a sudden craving for....you guessed it. Rum. So he went and got a bottle of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, and then the friend that went to see the movie with us crossed out the "Morgan" and wrote "Jack Sparrow." Ha!

And don't even get me started on Orlando. Mmmmmmmm.... You're right, Mary. He's just....sex on legs. It is, I admit, hard to enjoy him fully when you're sitting next to your extremely possessive and jealous husband, but he is still infinitely droolworthy. Especially in that scene at the end, with the hat and the cape and his hair down and everything.... He looked like Don Juan DeFuckme! LMAO! Anyway, I better stop now or I will be going on about it all night......

Waaaah! I have to see this movie. All I have to do is convince Adrian that I do actually want to see the movie for the movie and not so I can drool over Orlando Bloom for two hours. Maybe I can talk up the Keira Knightly angle.

Pirates pirates pirates pirates! Heh Sparrow's 'swagger' reminded me of Mick Jagger. *giggles*

The best friggen part... when Captain Barbossa (that's what it was, right?) put the sword right through Jack Sparrow...
Me: NOOOOO! WHAT THE HELL?!
Jessie's friends: SHHHHHH!
Me: *wimper*
But then everything was fine :)And I want to see it again. Did anyone hang round for that extra bit after all the credits?

Ahahah! That was SO FUNNEH. "He's got to be the worst pirate I've ever seen!"

Especially in that scene at the end, with the hat and the cape and his hair down and everything...

Buwahahah! Yeah, I gasped really loud when that happened and my friend hit me.

And yesh, eyeliner. Guh. Wow. On... let's see... Johnny Depp, Ewan McGregor, and David Bowie. Not, however, Marilyn Manson and Orlando Bloom.

You're kidding, right? I laughed so hard when I saw that picture. I mean, doubled over. He looks like one of the Sex Pistols or something...

For cramp-inducing laughter, see the rest of them.
