I WAS SO PLEASED TO SEE ANDY SERKIS IN IT! Omg he was wonderful.

OH MY CRAP, THE PART WHERE THOSE WORM-LIKE SUCKING CREATURES CAME OUT OF THE BOG AND FREAKING ATE HIS FREAKING FACE I SWEAR I'M GOING TO HAVE NIGHTMARES NOW. That creeped me out so insanely bad, I can't even express. I don't know why.

And those bugs. Ughh.

AHAHAH OMG did anyone see Howard Shore's cameo?! In the orchestra pit as the conductor? Me = dork, like I'm not kidding.

Everything was seriously amazing. That whole ritual thing freaked me out. Yep. Good stuff.

My only complaint is that it was a little too long, but that's okay, because this was his dream movie that he wanted to make since he was a teenager, so I think he has free reign to do whatever the heck he wants.

And all those shots of like, 10 whole seconds of a person looking bewildered/shocked/amazed/struck dumb. I could put together a whole DVD of that, ahaha!


I've been telling everyone I've seen today (except the people at the mall, because that would have been kind of awkward) that two years ago today Return of the King came out. That kills me. I saw [this], and I cried a bit. It's a bone-aching kind of love that I you just can't forget. I need to see them again, all of them, because it has been far, far too long.

I cannot stop listening to this song. ♥
