Jun. 30th, 2003 03:08 pmHmm. Soo. I somehow just got a job. Not a real one, mind you, but it pays. My sister was being picked up by her friend Katelyn and her mom asked me to come outside so I could talk to her. She wanted to know if I could tutor Katelyn in math. I'd have to go over to their house (which is not bad at all... it's huge) three or four times a week and help her with math. It's only seventh grade math so hopefully I won't look like an idiot, heh. Math is not my strong point... but I'll more than likely be just fine here, heh. I don't know how much I'll get paid but any sorce of income is fabulous, since I'm getting none at the moment. I pretty much start tomorrow. Less free time, but hell, I've had enough free time to last me a bit. So, yay.
Just for the heck of it, I straightened my hair this morning. It looks pretty cool. A bit stringy, but cool. I think I like my hair better curly but this is a nice change.
I was going to rant and argue about a certain quiz I saw on LJ but, hell... the world is full of stupidity and my say in that isn't going to change it a bit. Absolutely idiotic. Gah.

Date: 2003-06-30 02:37 pm (UTC)There is still punk around...somewhere. It's just hard to find.
Maybe in 20 years people will look back and call this period of time some sort of 'new punk era'. I hope not.

Date: 2003-06-30 02:57 pm (UTC)And, geez, I hope not. The Good Charlotte worshippers might call it that... I, however, will tell my children it was the "Nu-metal, pop-punk era" that drove some to insanity and most to devout emo/'punk' followings.
Shoosh. I'm not bitter. Annoyed, but not bitter. :D
