Someone hand me some fecking oxygen!!!
Jun. 18th, 2003 08:23 pm...Because I swear I'm going to pass out. My mom knows this lady at her work who really likes Lord of the Rings, which is great. She told me today that this lady's son works for some people who know their way around the movie industry. This lady's son is going to get four Return of the King premiere tickets for reward reasons I'm guessing. Anyhoot, it is most decisive that she will be going to the premiere. However! I think only three of the four people who her son is giving the tickets to wants to go. Leaving, da, dah! One ticket available. The reason why this lady told my mom all this is because she knows how much I love Lord of the Rings and would kill to go to the premiere. So, gahhh, oh my freaking gosh! I am making my mom tell her how much I would love to accompany her to go to New York for the FECKING RETURN OF THE KING PREMIERE!! No, not just standing outside watching Elijah, Dom, Billy, Sean, Viggo, Orlando, Liv, Miranda, Sir Ian, Bernard, Christopher, and John, INSIDE, WATCHING the movie, and TALKING WITH THEM. I... I... I don't think I could take it... *passes out*. But this is all speculation at this point... so I'm trying as hard as I can not to get my hopes up too high. But I mean, come on... how can you not? But the lady is definately getting the tickets so I so so so so hope that one is left available, she would let me come with her, and that my parents would let me go. Ahh!! I am absolutely in a state of shock. That would be so friggen awesome!
In other news, I finally picked up Harry Potter. Are you happy now, you silly people? If I feel like it Maybe I'll start reading it tomorrow. Next you'll want me to watch the movie, or something!

Date: 2003-06-19 08:11 am (UTC)You're so goddamn lucky [hope you get it, btw]! I'm going to have a serious problem trying to get to the London premiere outside, watching because I live in the far northeast of Scottieland and my parents dont want me to miss school. And the premieres have usually been on schooldays [I think...] so far, and London is a hellofa long way away...Grr. I'm meant to be going down with a net friend hopefully [parents will not like...unless they talk to her parents...] but I haven't talked to her for aggges...I'm rambling, aren't I?
*shuts up*
Last thing though....erm....either read the books or see the movies [for Harry Potter]. The movies are...not very good compared to the books...trust me. :)
