Jul. 10th, 2008 01:50 amSO, okay, I really need to get the ball rolling on losing a just few more pounds - just five would be AWESOME - because my self-esteem is all, LOL NONEXISTANT, and my cousin's wedding is coming up in like, five weeks, and you know how that goes, with a dress and all. SO I NEED YOUR HELP.
1) Gym, everyday (except for today because aughghhs 8 hour shift and oh God, my back, I am EIGHTY) until I leave for my trip in two weeks. I'm getting on exhausting my workout music playlist, so upload me your workout music! My list basically consists of Ladytron, Muse, the Run Lola Run soundtrack, The Faint, Rage Against the Machine, and other random stuff like hard 'n' heavy classic rock, crazy-ass adrenaline-fuled techno, and the occasional top 40/rap that no white girl like myself should have rights to listen to. SO YES. Anything in that sort of vein, or anything that you think it just plain awesome, I would love!
2) This is a srs interesting article, especially the part about bagels and cream cheese not being anywhere near ideal, as I could have sworn I heard somewhere that carbs in the morning were actually good for you. Oh well. ANYWAY, I've been meaning to get into drinking more tea, because it's awesome and, as per the article, stuff like green tea really has amazing benefits. I did a little more research and obviously the best way to get all the benefits of green tea is to drink it loose leaf, but I have NO idea where to buy loose leaf that's NOT on the internet. I'd rather just go to a store and pick some up myself. Obviously there's Teavana, which is an awesome store (and also where I plan on buying this, LOOK HOW CUTE IT IS), but I don't know if their tea is overpriced or not. Kind of like, you know, if it's the Starbucks in the world of tea. So yeah, if anyone could recommend me a) where to buy loose leaf tea or b) what variety of green tea is best/tastes better/has the best benefits, that would be awesome!
