I am the new Scottish gentry!
Sep. 3rd, 2005 01:16 amDriving an hour in both directions for one, fifty minute class is really annoying, but when that class is math? That's bordering on stupid. Woe.
Thanks to me singing to Franz Ferdinand as loud as I could on the drive there, I've decided to put up some of their more exclusive stuff. I really love them because they're sound is so unique, unlike nearly all pop-punk, nu-metal crap you hear today. Their music has character. I loooove the drums, and the vocals are fantastic. Anyway:
Do You Want To, their newest single for their CD that's due out in November. MAYBE THEN THEY'LL GO TOURING OMG.
Get Up And Use Me
Shopping For Blood
Those two are SO much fun. The amount of times I've probably embarrassed myself singing along to these in the car... I'll never know.
I've also been on a Kaiser Chefs, The Zutons, and Sufjan Stevens kick. They're amazing. I've been listening to this one song the whole night: Sufjan Stevens - For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fathers in Ypsilanti I downloaded this from Kate (cheers, darling), and after listening to it, I downloaded a handful of his songs. Very pretty and mellow. Yay.
Millina Mall (most importantly Urban Outfitters) and Uno's Chicago pizza tomorrow OH YAYE. :D!!
ETA: Absolutely stunning.
