Nuremberg - at the Nazi Documentation Center. This is Hitler's unfinished Congress Hall. I have MUCH more to say about this place, but for now I'll just say it was probably one of the highlights of my trip so far. Equal parts interesting and horrifying.

The Kaiserburg, castle sitting on top of the city. Huffed and puffed my way up to the top and ate an utterly fabulous lunch of Nuremberger bratwursts, sauerkraut, and Schlenkerla (dark smoked beer; kind of tasted like meat, lulz) by myself at that barely discernible wooden patio on the bottom left.

In Hannover! Met up with

geckoholic, who is absolutely fabulous and wonderful! and we traversed the city. This is a synagogue that is awesome if only for the symbols on the top.

In Wurzburg - the outside of the Residenz Palace. 18th century, so Rococo it oozes swirly stucco, heavily bombed during WWII, but restored. They don't let pictures inside, which is a shame, because it's SO SO PRETTY.

LOLOLOL so the train that I was on to Trier, Germany on Thursday went directly to Luxembourg City, so I thought... why the hell not! Just to rub in people's faces that I've been to the country of Luxembourg, ahaha. SO HERE IT IS, Luxembourg City and it's hauptbanhof (main train station.)

In Trier, oldest city in Germany. Founded in 16BC. This gate, the Porta Nigra? Was built during 186 and 200 AD. MY BRAIN. IT CANNOT.

Imperial Roman Baths, built by Constantine around the same time as the Porta Nigra. Seriously cannot even makes words as to how cool that is.

AHHHHH I have SO MUCH MORE but I'll have to stop for now, have to get ready for my flight to Amsterdam in the morning! As always, I miss you guys TERRIBLY, and I can't thank you enough for all your well wishes! ♥!!
