Don Quixote is fun.
Oct. 8th, 2003 07:25 pmI feel quite sober and drained right now. Mm.
Volleyball is actually starting to go better. Hurrah. Too bad the season ends in about two weeks. Heh. But it's really starting to get me quite tired.
I'm really starting to want someone at least halfway intellectual or someone who enjoys English and Literature with me in my class. We were just reading up on Emerson and Whitman - none of which who's views I agree with, but hey - and... eh, crap, some other guy, I can't remember his name right now, and there stories which have a lot of symbolism and logical analysis. I just hate it when basically everyone in my class is like, "This is so stupid! I don't understand it! Why are we reading this?!" Please. For the love of God, please, just once, sit down and think. The thinking process makes things go by a lot faster and smoother, I promise. I don't know. For me, not liking literature and admiring people's writings is just something I cannot comprehend. When you put so much time and effort into something, you can't just not give the author any credit. Some are beautiful. Some, dare I say it, are down right enjoyable. It's like when I first starting doing art. I really took it for granted, looking at art. But once you actually start doing it, the shape, the colors, the values, the shadows... it's hard, and you can't help but really acknowlegde what work the painter did. Same way with writing, I feel. I just wish I had someone in my class to discuss that with. Ugh.
Unnguuhhh. Dom. I found three pictures that I just can't stop looking at. This one for his neck and his ear and nose and that little mole and guhh. This one because of the angle and, it's well, DOM. This one because... dear God, look at his eyes. And his slight buffness. Heee.
I swear I'm not this fan-girly in real life. Eheh.
This song. Is so so grate.
