So a couple days ago I randomly heard good things about this book called Shiver, and yesterday I had the whole day to myself and the weather was beautiful, so, of course, I go to the bookstore, ahaha. I found the book and ended up reading 70 pages in the store before I was like, omg self, JUST GO BUY IT. So I did. And I could have finished it yesterday too if I hadn't gone to the movies. Aw I liked iiiiit. It's a YA book so, yeah, it's, you know, YA, and I KNOW what you're thinking, but as far as finding something to get totally engrossed in and have a good time with, it's really good. Need the sequel now pls.

Also saw Alice in Wonderland yesterday and it was good! Not super stupendously awesome, but I like it. I really love the Alice in Wonderland story, though, so. And all I could think of the whole time was American McGee's Alice, of which I am/was completely infatuated with.

Tomorrow it'll be three months since I moved home from Orlando. Weird, and yet awesome. Unfortunately I'm not... 100% happy with my job. I am very grateful that I HAVE a job and that it pays pretty well, but, sigh. It gets incredibly, INCREDIBLY boring more often than I'd like. Basically? I answer phones, scan papers, shred papers, and file, with little tasks here and there on the side. Mindnumbing. I wish I had projects, things I could accomplish and feel good about. And when I first started, I thought I was getting along well with my only other coworker besides my boss, but I seriously think now she's super annoyed with me, and is fake-nice to me more often than not. My boss is still really nice though, so, there's that. And my favoritest thing ever is taking the fall for them when I take a message for a client or another lawyer, and neither of them call the client/lawyer back, and I've had more than once the assumption that I was just ignoring or not sending the messages. Just the other day a client came in who... doesn't have the best personality, and both my boss and coworker straight up and completely obviously ignored her for a half an hour after their meeting was supposed to start. I was left alone in the front greeting area with a super annoyed client who was probably trying to kill me with her eyes. Ugh. It was seriously the most awkward thing ever. General duties of being an admin assistant, I guess.

It could be a lot, lot worse, I know, but by the end of the day I'm ready to punch myself in the face I'm so annoyed with being bored. Whatever, I guess. Just another thing to get through until I'm ready to blow this state.

HA. Well I don't swing that way, and neither does my boss, I don't think....

I seriously need to play that game again. The movie had some parts that were pretty crazily similar, which was awesome.
