Lookit me go!

Lordeh, Lordeh. God hath answered my prayers, yes.
Today in homeroom Mr. Sims told us he had an annoucement to make. Right, okay. He goes, "Starting tomorrow, I won't be your homeroom teacher, nor your advisor anymore." We all looked around, pretty astonished but I could tell that all of us were holding in our glee (yes, glee). We asked him why and he said it was just because he didn't have time for all the junior class responsibilities, with fundraisers and such, and since it was his first year here he wanted to get his bearings straight.
You must understand, though. At the beginning of the year he stated that he wanted nothing to do with fundraisers and managing the class. Excuse me. We're juniors. All of this year we have to raise money for being in charge of Junior/Senior. And what money spills over into next year and next year's money that we make goes to our senior trip. It is imparative that we make as much money as possible.
Then, last week, some of our class and him got into a wee argument when he said that we shouldn't sell lunches anymore because it was cutting into his teaching and stuff. Riight. You come here for not even two months and you're going to go to the administration about something that's been happening that way for 20 years? No. So then he says we could get moms of the people in class to come and sell. Last time I checked, however, it was the junior class. Not mommies-who-come-in-and-do-things-for-their-kids class. Besides, we make about $150 a week just with lunches. It was just asinine.
So, we ask him who our new advisor is going to be. Mr. Horne. Gah. YES. This is so fantastic. He knows plenty about what to do for fundraisers and is totally adament to sticking to them. I'm the secretary so I pretty much have a first hand account of everything that's goint to be happening.
And the best part is? It is most probable that our senior trip will be in New York. Yeaaah, baby.
You know what else is totally fantastic because I'm so smart and thought of this? Star Wars Episode 3 comes out in May, 2005. Guess when our senior trip is. OH. Yes. Gimme Hayden. And laskdjfalksjdls, Ewan. A Scottish man... near me. Liek, I could breathe in the same air as him. OH pleaseplease.
I don't get revelations very often, but when I do, they hit me damn hard. I, and so so many others I know complain about so much and have everything so well. I'm not trying to be the oh-so-righteous one or pity everything I hear about just... well, trying not to be so ungrateful. Because I am. And others need to get that through their friggen thick heads or someone - not necessarily myself - should help them along the way to getting there; tact never was a strong point of mine. Heh.
So, yes. Though I'm only 16 and don't know half the crap that goes on in the "real world" I know I'll be looking back when I'm on my own, in college, married, with children... uh... I'll be thinking that I was I was back where I am now. No responsibilites except homework, projects, asinine drama at school that shouldn't even be drama, sports, college... hell, it is a lot but not very much when compared to what my parents do, for example.
Um. End public service announcement.
Whooaa, Johnneh. Hot and bothered. I am. kthnx.
Aahah, that community is so grate.
