Holy shit. According to Jim Beaver's myspace page, Kim Manners passed away last night from lung cancer. I just. WHAT? I'm really utterly in shock. How? I mean, usually, that sort of thing... you kind of know about beforehand, right? Just... not to knock the credibility of Jim, but it's just... this is just utterly utterly awful. God.

ETA: Apparently he had cancer before but was thought to be in remission? Fuck. I'm just numb.

Oh god... how terrible. With a team as tight knit as this, it must be shattering. Just makes me feel ill. Clearly he was the favorite director, at least for the boys. :(

Oh babe, yes, that's exactly what's ripping me apart right now. Out of all the stories and gag reels and behind-the-scene pieces that we've all seen and know of, how close they all were and how much this must be devestating to all of them. I just never would have thought.
