An absolutly lovely Billeh interview! A few excerpts:

IGNFF: When were you actually informed that you had the part?

BOYD: [...] I phoned up, and she says, "Guess who's playing Pippin in Lord of the Rings?"

IGNFF: I hope you got the answer right.

BOYD: Well, I got it wrong twice before that. I said, "Is it Tom Hanks?" "No."

Ah! I love him!

BOYD: Like there's a thing that some people will get on the Internet now, pretending to be me, or Dom, or Elijah, or whatever – and that's kind of scary, you know? That somebody – that could be a quite horrible person, a sick person – could be sitting in a room somewhere and talking to some school girl and pretending to be one of the hobbits. It's quite scary.

Heh. Scarily funny.

IGNFF: How does it feel to actually have achieved that level of integration into pop culture? That you have thousands and thousands of people out there interested in you...

BOYD: It's that Scottish thing again, I think. I'm almost embarrassed by it, you know? It's not something that I crave, or need in any way, but I find it – I don't know.

Ahh! Adorable! That alone makes me want to shag him rotten.

IGNFF: The fact that are little kids playing with what are essentially Billy Boyd action figures?

BOYD: Yeah, it's weird! They always arrive at the house, because you have final say on them. So you see things – like a bobbing head toy came in. You think, "I never thought I'd see a bobbing head me." That's kind of weird. Some of them are great! Like Merry and Pippin on Treebeard – it's fantastic! It's a great toy, and it's great to think that kids are playing with that. I think it's absolutely fantastic.

Muwahahaha! Yes! I play with Billeh and Dom now! Woot!

IGNFF: So when is there going to be the home version of Tig?

BOYD: This is great, because the whole idea of that story – you know, people keep asking us for the rules and stuff. The whole idea is that we just made it up, in that moment, that day. So the rest of the rules – the whole thing was, everything Elijah said, we said he couldn't do it... "You can't double tag a tig!"

IGNFF: You need to do a "Dom and Billy Present Tig," and all it is is a box with a piece of paper inside.

BOYD: "There are no rules."

!!!!! *Dies* Gah. I lurve him.

As for today, everyone left for Spain. It was kinda sad, because it was right before school started, and all these parents and friends were there to see everyone off... Hugged Haley and Kristen and got a kissy from Kristen. YaY 4 my lesbian friendz, w00t!! Hee hee.

Going over to James' house tomorrow with Mark. Good stuff.

Oh yes, and I still haven't gotten over those Dom pics. Guh.
