Boring post is boring.
Aug. 29th, 2011 01:35 amAs of late I've been trying to do better with my eating habits, directly related to my PCOS. I've known for a while that PCOS often causes elevated insulin levels, so basically I should be eating low glycemic foods, especially if I want to lose weight. Which, ugh. I'm at that stage where it's impossible to lose ten pounds - exactly the amount I want to lose. So I'm hoping that cutting out white rice, potatoes, pretty much any form of white bread, cereals (;_____; cereal is my life, and I am sad), and such will do the trick. Well, I can still eat cereal, as long as it's chock full of fun stuff like bran and flax seed and puffed oats. Yay. But apparently eggs and whole wheat English muffins are good substitutes; I'm a big fan of whole wheat anything. And olive oil instead of butter on toast. Omg. It's good.
I've also gotten "hired" as a freelance proofreader, yay! Hopefully it'll go places. Extra money would be... really nice.
I'm also supposed to be hearing back from a Starbucks manager about getting hired. Sigh. Starbucks. Not my first choice, but I've got plenty of experience, and I really need a job at this point.
Every now and again I get reminded that Jensen Ackles actually exists out there in the world, and that he apparently carries a huge knife with him.

It really shouldn't be that hot, BUT.
And thanks
geckoholic for the LJ gift, n'aww! <3
