DON'T TUSCH ME MODDERFOCKER
Jun. 24th, 2010 11:58 pmNew York City. I have fallen in love.
I honestly didn't think I would. I kinda felt intimidated and completely out of place at first, but after seeing how incredibly unique most everything was, and holding a certain kind of charm, I was all, omg I never want to leave ever ever ever. When I got back it was hard just trying to explain to my family what makes it so awesome, but I couldn't. What's it like? It's like New York. I have an inkling of understanding why people feel so strongly about this city.
Of course, having amazing hostesses didn't hurt either. Besides the museums, I think the most touristy thing we did was walk through Times Square. The local-y type stuff was what made the trip. I honestly couldn't have asked for better. Plus I finally rode in a taxi (twice!) for the first time which made me go HEE HEE I'M IN A TAXI. And then I was sad, because it wasn't the Cash Cab. NEXT TIME, FOR SURE.
( And, as always, I have pictures. Lots and lots (and lots) of pretty pretty pictures. )
