(no subject)

So. So! First day of grown-up job. It was good! As good as filing for seven hours can be, haha. Mostly just getting the lay of the land today, I'll be learning more tomorrow, and so on. The communications and data system is sooooo organized and high tech and makes my heart SOAR with nerdy glee 'cause guys, if it's one thing I love, it's organization. I have my own computer, completely new and expensive and Windows 7 and wide-screen monitor, it's OSSUM. There's a little kitchenette with fridge and cabinet stocked full of food/drinks, an Otis Spunkmeyer COOKIE OVEN, and a cappuccino maker (ha!). Both the paralegal and the owner are really nice. The owner even took us out for lunch today because it was the paralegal's birthday yesterday and omg, seriously, omg. I am incredibly thankful for this, I am.

I am also, unfortunately, really really tired; last night was tossing and turning 'cause I was unconsciously terrified of sleeping through my alarm haha. Plus I'm going to have to get used to this "having responsibility" thing again. It was a really really good and lazy two months since I've last worked.

Right now I am listening to a streaming podcast of Radiohead playing a concert for a Haiti benefit and it is extremely delightful. Seriously Thom Yorke you are ridiculous in ways that I cannot even begin to explain and that is why I love you.
