Aug. 10th, 2008 10:03 pmReasons why my parents are so awesome I want to cry, NO REALLY:
- they gave me a vaccuum cleaner. A VACCUUM CLEANER. GUYS, I NEVER THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE A DAY I'D BE EXCITED ABOUT VACCUUM CLEANERS, BUT IT'S HERE.
- since I was coming they made the most AWESOMEST Sunday dinner ever which included smoked ribs, green bean casserole, texas toast, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese. AUGHAGHHALSGDAS.
- they gave me a bag of groceries which included NUTELLA. NUTELLA, OKAY.
And omg I missed them so much. I wish home wasn't in Clearwater, because after living there for 21 years I really really kind of hate it a lot, and I'm not really sure why. I have memories of every single place there, and it's not like they're bad memories, but they leave with with a literal sinking feeling in my gut and a bitter taste in my mouth even when I'm visiting. I don't know. It's weird.
I did visit my old Starbucks, though, and I cannot even put into words how much I MISS IT. I swore to them I would just come over here for a few days and work a shift in that store again, if they'd let me. I'd totally do it. Guy I had a sort of semi-crush on was working, and I've pretty much decided I would really not be adverse to a make out session, if I had to. YEP.
OH, and what with the Olympics going on right now, I've pretty much decided that as a graduation present to myself (graduation being after the fall '09 semester, HOPEFULLY), I'm gonna save up and visit my aunt, uncle, and cousins who live in Hong Kong right now, because I'm pretty sure the epicness of that would be off the scale.
I have to open for the next three days, so I'd better go to bed, sigh.
