Firstly, and most importantly, PIRATESSSSSS OMMGGG. OH, I love pirates. Yes I do.
Last exam today, so I'm officially a sophomore. I can't believe it. My assessment? College >>> high school. But you already knew that. I hope the grades are posted soon....
Being that I have no more school until late August, I had to figure out what to do for work. I've had no luck yet on the places I've applied to, and I really really didn't want to work 9-5 at my office. BUT, as it turns out, they told me that I couldn't work 40 hours a week, how would you like to work 9-1 Monday thru Friday? Well, YES OKAY THAT WOULD BE FANTASTIC. I'm pretty relieved. Not that I'm not going to still look into other jobs, but this just gives me more time and a heck of a breather. So, yes. I'm glad that worked out.
Three things I must do this summer:
- look up/write scholarships for studying abroad (♥♥♥♥ YOU GUYS; thanks for the support omg!)
- go to New Pages and work on Lit Magazine contests (thanks to my awesome creative writing professor)
- kind of silly... but I want to pick up some oil paints and a canvas and do some painting... I've always enjoyed doing it, but never took the initiative unless I was in my art class in high school. I think it would be fun, though.
